Malbec Experience in Bodega Tierras Altas

It was a great tasting experience. It’s good to learn something about the grapes and Mendoza. I like one Malbec wine a lot.

The guide Gonzalo was exceptionally knowledgeable, detailing the birth of a classic Malbec Reserva Grapes per litre important (think 1.4Kg) 1 year in a 10,200 Litre tank (tasting direct from the tank) 1 year in American Oak (Vanilla) and French Oak (Fruit - plums etc) (tasting direct from the barrel) Bottled and laid flat for minimum of 3 years Tasting of final bottle was a 20 year old wine - just WOW Beautiful homley intimate boutique winnersy Liked it so much we stayed for lunch, 3 or 5 courses with wine pairings to each course. Truly exceptional food & wine & value

A very nice guided tour of the tierras altas bodega. You get to taste many different wines at different stages of wine making process. You also learn a lot about how wine is made and how to properly drink wine. Great tour if you have limited time in mendoza/just want an intro to mendozas wine

A lovely spot convenient to Mendoza. Appreciated wine tasting from different stages of the process - from fermentation tank to oak barrel to finish. Culminated in a small glass of 2005 vintage Malbec. Yummy! Superb tasty, time I highly recommend.

We had an amazing time doing the wine tasting. Gonzalo, our guide, was really friendly and informative. It didn't feel rushed at all and there was plenty of time for questions and pictures. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a wine tasting that doesn't take up half the day and is a little kinder on the wallet. And of course, the wine was delicious!

Very beautiful ground with an excellent tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and easily conveyed the wine making process.

We enjoyed our wine tour with Gonzalo and his explanation of the process of making a truly exquisite wine. We tried six different wines and bought a couple of bottles to take with us. We loved it!

I took the English winery tour and was very impressed. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and spoke very very good English, not to mention there being lots of opportunities for tasting's! I went solo but that wasn’t an issue at all because of the friendly atmosphere created, would definitely recommend!!
