With your guide, pass the snow-capped Cordón del Plata and stop by the turquoise Potrerillos lake on your way to the mountain town of Uspallata. After passing through Penitentes Ski Resort you’ll reach Aconcagua National Park. On your return back you will have the opportunity to stop and see Puente Del Inca, a naturally formed bridge over a steep ravine. Once in Uspallata you’ll enjoy an afternoon lunch of Argentine asado (local style barbecue - not gourmet) before concluding your tour at approximately at 5:30pm.

I would give this experience a 5/5 stars and recommend it to all ages wanting to experience the Andes without a strenuous hike. Our guide, Pablo, did a wonderful job telling us about the geography and history of the region. Traveling by van was comfortable and smooth, hike (just under an hour) was the perfect distance, and the lunch was phenomenal (though a TON of food).

We had a lovely day with our guide Pablo and driver Christian. We were picked up in a nice truck with a/c at our hotel on time. While it was a long drive, Pablo shared many interesting facts, history and stories. We stoped along the way for food, beverages and bathroom breaks. We learned many things and had a wonderful time. We highly recommend this day trip!

I had a wonderful day on wine tour with Trout&Wine tours, especially with our amazing guide Ricky! The tour is curated with some beautiful boutique vineyards to showcase some of the best wines Mendoza has to offer! The views on the drive and from the vineyards aren't so bad either :) All around an Amazon experience and definitely worth booking!

The hiking is easy and, indeed, we can see the Aconcagua ! Our guide was Pablo: he is very knowledgeable in the history of the country and its consequences on modern days. He was very, very good. There are numerous stops on the way to take pictures of breathtaking landscapes ! Pablo also explained how water is a precious resource in Mendoza and how it is manage. It was very informative !

Our driver (Wally) and our guide (Lena) were both very friendly and engaging. Lena explained about the history of the area and how Mendoza receives water for agriculture and farming. The view points and sightseeing spots along the way were incredible. We had clear skies the whole time which even amazed our guide Lena! The Aconcagua Park was spectacular and worth the trek there. The Inca bridge was extremely fascinating as well. The traditional BBQ was interesting to watch and had plenty of food. An excellent day and would highly recommend

Pablo our guide and Cristian our driver arrived at exactly the appointed time with a warm welcome. After a brief explanation we headed out. Our vehicle was super clean and seats comfy. First stop was the scenic view over Potrerillos reservoir. Absolutely stunning and excellent explanations. Then a drive to the breakfast/coffee stop. Pablo had called ahead and arranged our favourite coffee choice - what service. The onto Aconcagua Park. The drive was spectacular through ever changing geography and geology. Pablo shared his knowledge and it came alive. We saw Guanaco, then a mob of horses and mules being brought into the farm. The highlight though is the Aconcagua with the towering mountain covered in snow. Another wow. Pablo helped us identify many birds and we walked the 1/2 hour track to the lookout. It was an easy walk for people with good mobility. The views amazing. Then onto a bbq lunch, great experience but way too much food and a bottle of wine. Last stop the Inca Bridge and craft stalls. So interesting. A special thank you to Cristian who is a skilled and careful driver who also speaks good English and added to the shared knowledge and the courtesy of opening doors etc. Water was provided and adequate comfort stops. If we could rate it 6* we would.

We spent the day with our guide, Ricky. He picked up my husband, our friend Ray, and me at our hotel in a Mendoza suburb. Then we headed towards the Andes. We stopped at one of the reservoirs made by damming the Mendoza River and Ricky told us more about how water is managed in this area. We Our next stop was for a coffe break in Upsallata with a selection of local pastries before he reached the mountains -- a good chance to stretch our legs. Then we headed to the Puente del Inca (Inca Bridge) for a photo stop and some information about how the bridge was formed, the abandoned spa there, and restrictions now around the bridge to protect it. We drove on higher up into the mountains with some fantastic views. Ricky was a very engaging guide an d told us about how the mountains are formed and the various minerals we could spot simply from the color of the visible bands on the side sof the mountains. We reached the Aconcagua National Park and undertook a hike that took us about 75 minutes -- with stops for photos of the mountains, the lakes, wildlife, and signs for photo ops. Aconagua is the highest peak in the Southern Hemisphere and is quite spectacular to see, even from many miles away. We then drove back to Upsallata for lunch. We had the BBQ for two and the BBQ chicken. Everything tasted amazing -- the seasoning was spot on and the meat and potatos were perfectly cooked. Ricky provided us with a bottle of delicious wine bottled by one of his coworkers. Then, we drove back, enjoying the views of the mountains from a different direction and we were returned to our hotel. There was a lot of riding in the pickup truck today but the views and the conversation with Ricky made the rides pass quickly and memorably. Ricky is a great guide -- very well informed, friendly, flexible, and funny. My only regret was that this was our only tour with him. I highly recommend both this tour and Ricky as a guide.

We did the Andes day trip! Expert guide (Pablo) and driver (Christian) showed off their country to the very best! We learned so much about the geology, the geography, the history which was absolutely fascinating. We were taken to the Aconcagua National Park where we did a lovely hike. We saw the Puerte del Inca and saw the artisan market stalls. We went to multiple viewpoints - had a great breakfast and lunch too! Thank you - we could not recommend more highly!
