Group size no more than nine people with breakfast and lunch with wine included. Unlike most other Mendoza agencies we actually enter Aconcagua Park and hike for one hour. An extravagant barbecue lunch with limitless wine is also included. Travel the old Trans-Andean railway via minibus on this 8-hour small-group tour. With your guide, pass the snow-capped Cordón del Plata and stop by the turquoise Potrerillos lake on your way to the mountain town of Uspallata. After passing through Penitentes Ski Resort you’ll reach Aconcagua National Park. On your return back you will have the opportunity to stop and see Puente Del Inca, a naturally formed bridge over a steep ravine. Once in Uspallata you’ll enjoy an afternoon lunch of Argentine asado (local style barbecue - not gourmet) before concluding your tour at approximately at 5:30pm.

This was an excellent trip. Each location was quite different and on the way the rock formations were incredible. Our guide, Victoria was very knowledgeable each location and also pointed out interesting things along the journey. The tour group spoke Spanish and English and Victoria made sure we all had the same information. She also translated questions from the other group members and helped us to chat with them, especially over lunch . The whole day was very relaxed. This was the best trip we’ve done in Argentina, I would thoroughly recommend it and would do a trip with Trout and Wine again if I was in the region.

Although the weather did not cooperate for our trip to Aconcagua or the Inca Bridge, Trout &Wine had a back of plan that was also wonderful--going to a beautiful vineyard for an amazing lunch and wine tasting. In addition, they did a great job of communicating with us before the trip and then keeping us informed of itinerary updates while on route. Our guide and driver were also excellent, patient and super informative. We will have to come back another time to try the Aconcagua Tour with Trout & Wine!

Ezekiel was an excellent guide and we thoroughly enjoyed this trip! The landscapes and scenery are out of this world and Ezekiel explained everything thoroughly whilst being a really fun guide. We also very much enjoyed the delicious lunch - Parrilla meats and local red wines aplenty!

This was value for money and a real life experience. Site seeing though the Andes with a fantastic, knowledgable, funny and friendly guide. No spoilers here but totally recommended. The mountain (pun intended) of food was a treat and a (pleasant) struggle).

If you are in Mendoza, you don’t want to miss this full day experience! The eight hour trip involved the most scenic and glorious drive into the Andes mountain chains, expertly navigated by Walter, our driver. Our guide, Pablo, skillfully recounted the history of the peoples of the Mendoza region, informed us of the geology of the area and patiently answered all of our questions regarding the many sites we saw. The views were simply breathtaking! On the way into the mountains we stopped for a light breakfast and coffee, and on the way back we stopped for a delicious traditional Argentine barbecue. All in all, it was a day to remember. Thank you, Pablo and Walter for such a unique experience!

The experience was the best I could ever expect. The tour guide was Exequiel Quiroga and the driver was Diego. Best team ever! A pickup 4x4 picked my wife and I at the hotel and drove through the Andes until Aconcagua Park. We had a stop after an hour and a half to have a coffee and eat some croissants at a delightful, clean and delicious cafe (keeping in mind is a tough way, so you don’t have many shops and cafes). Then we drove a bit more until a village where we could see a beautiful view and shop some winter clothes, souvenirs and use the bathroom, then, we’ve been to the park. The guide was amazing. During the entire journey, and then at the park, he told about the history of Mendoza, the road, strategic spots, the Andes, military campaigns, Inca’s camping’s, and much more. Back to Mendoza, we had a lunch at an amazing restaurant with Parriladas, wine and desert. All great! Coming back, as a courtesy, he stopped at a spot where we could see the river, see an Inca construction and the river. I definitely wanna go back and do it again in summer.

If you like gorgeous mountains and desert views, this is the trip for you. We went with Diego and Exequiel and they were great. Diego did the driving, and was very safe in an area where you need to expect the unexpected. Exequiel was knowledgeable and fun - the bonus on this trip was that we talked about wine because we were interested and he is an ex-winemaker. We spoke English, and another couple spoke Spanish, so he told us everything in both languages and even translated for us so we could have a conversation. The trip was decently long on two-lane roads, so if you get motion sickness, come prepared. The views are outstanding. The colors of the Andes are memorable. We could not see the top of Aconcagua due to weather, but it was still spectacular. The meal was a typical Argentinian parilla and it was delicious.
