This excursion exceeded my expectations. I was blown away by the scale, and preservation of Baalbek temples. It’s an impressive archaeological site—and I’ve seen many. Hassane is a well i firmed guide (I slso went to Byblos with him) who, because of our curiosity, gave us a bonus: a visit to the nearby shrine. This unplanned stop was a highlight for everyone in our five person group.

The best experience ever. Hassane is funny and easy going. At the same time, he provides lots of information about Lebanon. Baalbek leaves you speechless. Thank you very much!!

Loved discovering Baalbek’s grand Roman ruins and the peaceful beauty of Lebanon’s Beqaa Valley. I’ll return and do it again.

Genuinely one of the best tours I've been on in all my travels. I went on the tour with Hassane as our guide, who was very friendly and eager to share the history and peculiarities of Lebanon. Though Anjar doesn't appear to be much, the history is absolutely fascinating as it is a one-of-a-kind location. We were paired with an actual archaeologist, not just a guide, who had excavated the site 3 times, and it was amazing to see it through his eyes. The winery was beautiful and build upon Roman caves; I'd never tried Lebanese wine before. And of course, Baalbek is an absolute must see. It's the most complete ruins I've seen, better than what's commonly visited in Greece and Italy. To top it of, we stopped at a restaurant, with included lunch that was fresh and delicious including cold mezze and several meat platters. It was a very generous portion and between the 4 of us, we couldn't even finish everything. If you come to Beirut, I highly recommend this specific tour to get you outside of the city for a day.

It is a great experience because you visit two archaeological sites: Anjar and Baalbek. Anjar was a town built during the Ummayad period but in Roman and Byzantine style. Baalbek was a Roman temple. Fascinating place.

This is an interesting tour which covers two sites of archeological interest, the Ummayad Anjar and the Roman temple Baalbek.

I had an amazing experience with this travel agency! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Our tour leader, Albert, was absolutely fantastic – super friendly, helpful, and full of positive energy. The agency clearly works with excellent local guides and great restaurants, which made the whole day even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a well-planned and memorable day trip!

Our Baalbek, Anjar, and Ksara tour was absolutely incredible! Albert, our guide, was knowledgeable, passionate, and made history come alive at every stop. In Baalbek, he explained the Roman temples in great detail and helped us imagine what life was like thousands of years ago. At Anjar, he highlighted the unique Umayyad architecture, and in Ksara, we enjoyed a relaxing wine tasting while learning about Lebanon’s winemaking heritage. Albert’s storytelling, humor, and professionalism made the entire day enjoyable and smooth. He also gave us great local tips and made sure everyone was comfortable and engaged. This tour is a must-do for anyone visiting Lebanon — and if you can, request Albert as your guide!

Great tour if you like learning about the history and culture of the area. The guides they had for Baalbek and Anjar were well informed and knew a lot about the area. The wine tour was short, but that may be because I didn't stay for the tasting. The winery was a very pleasant place; if the weather is good, you could lounge around the grounds of the winery for a while and relax.

Had a great time exploring Baalbek and Anjar with a small group— our guides were very good but it was our driver Hassane whose limitless energy and knowledge about the history and politics of the region made the day! Would recommend!
