Breathtaking Ninh Binh: Tam Coc & Mua Cave Day Trip from Hanoi

This excursion was the best, our guide Sunny was very imformative, couldn't have had a better guide. The buffet lunch was delicious & plenty to choose from. A 12 hour tour, good value for the money. We had such a memorable day.

The communication with the guides was great, the pick up was on time. Biking was a bit underwhelming because it only lasted 15 min each way, but the bikes were great and the scenery was beautiful. The buffet lunch was splendid - tons of choices of great tasting food. The boating experience was excellent - one hour on a gorgeous river and through 3 different caves. We also liked hiking to the top of the mountain a lot - great views from above, beautiful lily pond down below. Would highly recommend this tour.

I had an absolutely fantastic day on the Ninh Binh tour visiting Hoa Lu, Tam Coc, and Mua Cave. From the very beginning to the end of the day, communication was excellent—clear, timely, and reassuring, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The excursions were perfectly timed and very well planned, allowing us to enjoy each location without feeling rushed. Sunny, our tour guide, provided detailed information in advance and throughout the day which was extremely helpful. On the bus, we were given insightful explanations about the history of the sites as well as fascinating details about Vietnamese culture, which really added depth and meaning to the experience. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared, and it truly was a great day all around. A special thank-you for the complimentary bottles of water for travelers—it was a much-appreciated touch. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely day out with our tour guide Sunny and driver Hoa. Communication was great before the trip and during. Sunny taught us a lot about Vietnam as well as making the trip enjoyable. It is a lot of driving to/from Ninh Binh as was known, but Sunny uses the time to share information about the country. The biking was short (3km total) and easy, I recommend to stretch the legs after driving. Lunch was a large buffet with lots of options for vegetarian too. The boat tour is quite long at 90mins but beautiful scenery and the final climb up to dragon mountain gets the legs moving again, it only takes 10-20mins if you are fit with great views. We enjoyed the day out of the city.

We had an amazing experience!!! Our tour guide Sunny was 11/10, very engaging and friendly. The tour was planned out accordingly, enough time for each activity and buffet is included. Overall we enjoyed our time and would definitely recommend!!!!!

We had a great day which included the bicycle tour of Hua Lu, boat trip at Tam Coc, and mountain walk at the lying dragon mountain. The trip was made very easy due to our host, Sunny, who was very considerate, organised, and filled with interesting and funny anecdotes about the local history. I would thoroughly recommend taking the tour for anyone looking for a reasonably active taste of the beautiful local area.

We had a great time with guide Sunny and driver Hoa on the day trip. Activities were good, food was fresh and delicious. Sunny is an humorous and helpful tour guide and we would recommend him. Bikes were good quality and simple to use. A family of 4 with two teenage girls, all of us enjoyed the day. Hoa drove like a ninja.
