Breathtaking NYC: 90-Min Open-Top Iconic Bus Tour

We had such a great experience on the New York City tour bus! Everything was well organized and enjoyable, but the real highlight of our day was Michelle - an amazing controller — so professional, kind, and full of positive energy. Michelle made everyone on the bus feel welcome and taken care of. Honestly, there’s no one better than Michele — truly made our day unforgettable!

We did a 72 hour pass and it provided a great overview of Manhattan as well as transportation to many of the places we wanted to go. It also came with a 3 hour guided tour to the DUMBO area of Brooklyn which we fortunately took advantage of (our guide Ric was terrific and the views of the Manhattan skyline across the river stunning). Highly recommend!

Too expensive for what they deliver. Had to wait for 4 buses to pass at WTC (stop 10) before there was room to get on. Pre-recorded narration is poor. Sound quality is terrible. Not worth it.

Compton Blackburn was an excellent tour guide, very patient and knowledgeable about NY. He gave us personalized tips on where to go and what to do.

I was skeptical to book this experience because of previous reviews. I ended up booking the one day pass for the downtown loop (the half day option would not work if you wanted to get off the bus and spend time at that stop). I have done other hop on/hop off tours in other cities with a tour guide speaking the whole time, which I prefer. The NYC experience gives you free headphones to listen to pre-recordered facts about the city. I didn't experience any issues with these (some reviews said the headphones wouldn't work). My one recommendation is to go early in the day as the lines to catch a bus can be longer later in the day. The staff at each stop were polite and helpful. My overall rating is pretty good.

Very fun and very convenient! Friendly people. Stopped at several sites. Bring a jacket with you for the trip. It can get a little chilly.

We booked a 24 hour hop on, hop off. We started off having a notification that stop 1, 2 and 3 were suspended on the day we were travelling which it didn’t tell us before booking and we may have changed our plans if we had known. So we had to walk to stop 4 to start our journey. We thought the bus trip itself was really good. Some great information. The drivers were all great and friendly. The only thing I would say is when you sit upstairs unless you’re looking at a map it’s not obvious where the stop is. This could definitely be improved.

Great way to see the city, especially as a first time visitor. Traffic can be a problem at certain times of the day, but our driver knew how to alter the route to go around traffic logjams, so no problem. Bus was clean and provided route maps and earbuds.

Timely, accurate and friendly. Santana was an amazing guide, offering up helpful guidance to guests.

Absolutely most economical way to get an overview of major sites with narration. Take this first and then go to the places you like. Can use on an off all day, evening.
