This walking tour was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend anyone who might want to learn more about Mèrida and the Yucatan Peninsula to take this tour!! I was surprised, yet very thankful that I ended up doing this tour alone with Shirley (Duck) . She was so knowledgeable, friendly, and spent time answering all of my questions. I loved the locations we explored, as well as her segment about the traditional dishes in the Yucatan. That way I knew what to eat while I was in the area. I suggest doing this tour when you first arrive to Mèrida so you have more of an insight during your trip. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay in that area for a longer period of time to participate in more of the activities that Mike and Duck have to offer!!

Great tour of key sites in the historical center of Merida. Shirley shared information about history and culture and we learned fun facts about each place we saw. I would highly recommend this tour if you want an overview of the city.

Shirley and Mike were fantastic guides full of knowledge they were eager to share with our group. We walked around the historical center of town and visited a couple museums. We learned about local lore and history of the area and the people that make up this beautiful city.
