This Quebec City 101 Tour with Funicular ride included is filled with fun, surprise, and useful information! Walk the streets of Old Quebec and marvel in the historic feel of one of the oldest cities in North America. Visit many of Québec City’s top attractions in the Upper and Lower Town districts, such as Fairmont Le Château Frontenac, Terrasse Dufferin, Notre-Dame de Québec Basilica-Cathedral, Place Royale, Fortifications of Québec, Quartier Petit Champlain. If the funicular is closed, we can arrange cab transport to avoid having to walk up the hill, or we can provide a ticket to be used later in the stay, at the customer's discretion (if they wish to walk up). A 15-20% tip is strongly recommended at the end of the visit.

The guide was wonderful. So much information about Canadian history. Good thing that there was a shuttle from the ship that put us within about a mile of the meeting point. There was construction, so you have to work around it.

Great way to be introduced to the city! Knowledgeable guide showed us the lower and upper city and gave insights into the history.

Luis was a delightful tour guide! He shared Quebec’s history with fabulous anecdotes and humor. I learned so much! The 2 hours passed quickly with well timed stops and interesting commentary about the architecture and significance of amazing buildings around the city. Highly recommend the tour and Luis!

Walking tour gave us so much more context as to the layout and history of this beautiful city -- the oldest in North America! Etienne, our guide, was very knowledgeable of all of the local histories, took pauses for photos, and pointed out do not miss restaurants and things to see and do after our tour ended.

This tour was ok but it was more about walking and historic buildings being pointed out. We did not like the fact that we were taken from lower town to upper town and left. For someone who has never been to Quebec before you can get lost trying to find your way back. No map was given to assist in helping with your return trip. Guide was nice.
