I had a fabulous tour. Our guide Markus was great and we enjoyed our trip because of him. He was super helpful to our needs and gave us very important information on the go. He was very conscious of people of all age groups and connected with all of us.

It’s an easy day trip from Munich to Salzburg and worth the experience. You get to see Salzburg and the train ride was great too. Our guide, Jeremy, was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.

Just wow! I am at lost for words about our experience to Salzburg. It all started our tour guide, Elisabeth, who was outstanding, giving us a history of Salzburg on our train ride to Salzburg. (If you want a well organized, knowledgeable, friendly and witty guide, she is the one for you! Trust me, after 25 tours, she is the best!) From The Sound of Music scenes, to Mozart’s birthplace, to the Cathedral, Fortress and Cemetery, you are taken on a wonderful journey back in time to enjoy this Baroque style city. This is a perfect tour to get an appetite for a city where you will want to return to for days! Speaking of an appetite, the food and beer here are world class! The Stiegl Beer Haus has amazing food and a great view of the city! Did I mention the Mozart Chocolate balls? Mozart made great music and had impeccable taste! Finally, the Sacher Torte might be the most delightful bite of a cake you will ever have. I could go on for hours about the experience and Elisabeth, our tour guide but just book the flight and tour already! You will be glad you did!

Great tour guide Marcus was able to get a group of 20 people to the train, in the train and then tell us about Salzburg. Very friendly and knowledgeable and worked with what the tour wanted so able to adapt easily: Lovely walk in the old city and gave us details on where to meet and brought us back to train and then back to Munch. The Alps made this trip for me. Simply stunning

Great guide, Markus. He gave us bright explanations and showed personal attitude to each of us. Markus led us perfectly through salzburg’s attractions.

This was a very interesting and beautiful trip. Susan was our guide and did a great job explaining the sights in Salzburg—everything from the Sound of Music filming sights, Mozart, the churches, the oldest restaurant in Europe—where we had a delicious lunch. Wonderful trip!

Great tour. Can't say enough about our tour guide Maxine. She was awesome and a pleasure to be around. Tour was very organized, even using public transportation. Saw all the sights we wanted to see, including Sound of Music locations.

Highly recommend this day trip! Salzburg is gorgeous! Many things to discover, sightseeing. Our guide was Susanne and she was great, wish could stay longer in Salzburg, a must go if you come to Munich

Well organized. Trains were wacky so they had a nice plan B. Nick and Jeremy were very knowledgeable and make the tour so much fun. They also provide time to wander around on our own but provide excellent suggestions. I would highly recommend this.

Overall, it was a worthwhile trip. While we did experience a lot of delays getting into Salzburg with the train, Maxine was absolutely great with our group. Personally, I found Salzburg to be hectic and not as good as other European cities, Maxine still had some great recommendations and great information about various parts of the city. I enjoyed her very much.
