We really enjoyed our walking food tour. Kai was a great guide snd walked us around the old quarter to some excellent local restaurants. The food was fresh and tasty and plenty of it. A great way to experience the real local food.

Amazing guide and so knowledgeable. He also helped us out many other things like jade shops, day to day activities and more. Many menus here are very expansive. He took us to places that specialized in famous local dishes that were so good! At the end he provided us with his food maps from other major Vietnam cites. Max is highly recommended. Wish I could take him everywhere else we are going!

Unless you speak Vietnamese fluently, know how to navigate back alleys, and can explain the history of Vietnamese food, there’s no way of creating this experience by yourself. Mai was our tour guide and she was great. Each stop was fun, insightful, and left me satiated. I did the 11:39 tour, and would have done the 6:00 had my itinerary had more time. Bottom line: you don’t know the host country until you know the origins of its food, which you typically don’t get at a restaurant.

Excellent walking tour of food shops in the Old Quarter. Of note, this tour is more than traditional street food. Three of the stops were at indoor, sit down restaurants. The other two were more traditional street food shops. Huyng was an excellent guide offering interesting and helpful information. He made sure that any dietary restrictions were met. Would highly recommend and would suggest doing early during your stay in Hanoi.

We had an excellent tour with Huy; it was seamless, fun, and filled with delicious dishes. He accommodated our dietary restriction without issue. He went above-and-beyond when my husband injured his ankle and got us an ace bandage and ibuprofen from the pharmacy. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to try lots of things in just a few hours, and learning about Vietnamese food culture all the while.
