Rhodes' Iconic Gems: Lindos & Medieval City Adventure

Tour bus was at the port as soon as we walked off the ship. Stopped along the way to Lindos for ceramic-making and olive oil tasting (with opportunity to buy, of course). Lindos - have an option to EITHER shop or climb the Acropolis with the guide. We opted to pay the extra $20 EURO to go with the guide to the top. So glad we did! Breathtaking and she explained so much to us. We did note that shopping in Lindos is more expensive than the shopping in Rhodes. From Lindos returned to the bus to go to Rhodes for the walking tour. Learned so much with our guide. (Worth noting - There was no time to do the optional Grand Master's Palace Tour afterward.) After the walking tour, there was a wine tasting. We skipped that and then did OUR shopping. AMAZING shopping. Lots of leather. We bought jackets, purses, belts and we noted the prices were much cheaper than Lindos. From the walled city of Rhodes, we walked ten minutes back to the ship. The bus would have dropped you off if you did the wine tasting and didn't want to shop or walk back on your own. Our guide was terrific.

We were tour with medium size group. The tour guide was very friendly, informative about those cited attractions. She helped us navigating the long queue for ticketing which saved us a lot of time.

Loved the pottery making visit .,Tour guide was so knowledgeable and easy to follow ..The mixture of different experiences was wonderful.

Fabulous guide!! Loved seeing some of the island instead of just the main city. But I wish the description had specified we would not enter the Palace of the Grand Masters.

The experience was great. The pottery making was very interesting. I climbed the Acroplolis with 2 others and it was amazing. I wish I had a little more time in lindos to go around and relax. Could of spent less time with the honey and wine tasting. Overall is a great experience

This was the most convenient tour we could have asked for from the cruise port. They met us right as we got off the ship, and the bus was comfortable and air-conditioned. It took all the stress out of our day in Rhodes. Our guide was a pro at managing time, so we felt we saw everything important without being rushed.

I can't say enough good things about our guide. He wasn't just reciting facts; he told stories and made us feel a real connection to the history of the island. He had a great sense of humor and was so patient with everyone in our group. Honestly, the guide made the tour, and this one was fantastic.

The free time in Lindos was perfect for us to grab a snack and explore the little shops. The whole family had a wonderful time and now we all have some amazing photos from the Acropolis.

Nice people but poor "time" planners. The bus was clean, the ride was good & the driver was safe. The tour guide was knowledgeable & friendly & entertaining. However, the "tour stop" selection & time allocation was frustrating. The most important "stops" for us we're rushed. We lingered at a pottery & olive oil shop for an hour & then rushed through Lindos & the Medieval City. We had tickets to the Lindos Acropolis that we decided to forfeit because of the poor timing & planning. The tour company blamed the issues on our cruise ship, but, while there was a problem, the main issue was their lack of planning.

Our guide was excellent and their storytelling was top-notch. Seeing the Acropolis in Lindos and then walking the streets of the Medieval City was an unforgettable experience. Thank you for an amazing day!
