I did 4 tours over 1.5 days Aug 5 and 6 - The Dharavi Slum tour, Street Food tour, Mumbai Bike tour, and a Private 1/2-day Mumbai Sightseeing tour. My two tour guides, Raj, who led the Street Food tour, and Chetan, who led the other three tours, did a great job! They were very knowledgeable about the city, it's history, the sights we toured, and the foods we ate (pace yourself!). Since it was the rainy season and few tourists were around, all the tours ended up being private. That gave me an opportunity to get to know Chetan and Raj and allowed me to learn more of them and the city from their pesonal point of view. They both made sure that I got back to my hotel safely. I was also impressed with the way that Reality Tours gives back to the slum community through education and opportunity. Thank you, Raj, Chetan, and the rest of the RT team!!

A great and insightful experience covering historical sites, vibrant street life and delicious food that all stimulate your five senses. It could be a bit chaotic, but that is part of the immersion to explore the unique energy and diverse offerings of Mumbai.

This is our first time to Mumbai and Chetan - our guide made it unforgettable ! From the day we asked the company to customize our tour as per our request, they have made it very smoothly and quickly. Everything from the beginning is made professionally. Chetan - our guide met us on time at Mahim station, introduced and explained everything in details with his deep knowledge and enthusiasm. We visited Dharavi, Dhobighat and see Dabbawalas. These are all must-visit when in Mumbai. I would love to go with Reality again in the future if we are back to India. 80% of the profit from Reality is to support the Dharavi community, this is so meaningful and lovely. The guide Cheta was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the place. We learnt a lot about how people make a living here. Highly recommend

We did the street food tour then the following day a private tour of the slums and rest of the day seeing the sites we’d not already seen. The guides Raj and Chetan were fantastic. It was great to be able to try foods we would never be brave enough to order. The private tour was perfect as we could customise it. Best Masala chai we’ve ever had from the street vendor. Loved all the history and the slum tour was a humbling and insightful experience not to be missed. Excellent value too and supporting education of the local population so you can’t get much better than that.

We spent two days with our guide Raj and got to see so much . Different drivers on each day but were also very good . We visited temples , historic sites , markets , streets , train station and the slums . So much information was given as Raj knowledge was incredible. This is definitely a trip not to miss when visiting . Timings and arrangements were spot on so no worries if on a cruise they will be there to meet you and get you back in plenty of time
