Having received numerous texts and emails in the days preceding our activity advising of a pick up time, we then received a revised pick up time (later) less than 24 hrs before the activity was due to start. After being picked up it became quite apparent that we had been bumped off our original trip onto another similar trip, we were only 2 of 4 English speaking people, the vast majority of the others were Spanish Latin American, not a problem at all except that the vast majority of the information given out in Spanish and only a brief description in English. The itinerary was completely different to the one we booked so we started at Sugar loaf mountain rather than end there, there was lots of poor time management which resulted in the day dragging on way too long (12 hours) it was dark by the time we finished Christ the redeemer, but they still dragged us half way across town to drive straight past the Macarena stadium ( in the pitch dark) and then onto the “Sambadrome” again in the pitch dark, what was the point????. The lunch was good, but no drink, not even water included. I get alcoholic drinks are extra but surely they could run to a small bottle of water for each person ( on a 12 hour trip)? The Celeron steps and the cathedral were rushed, again due to poor time management. In hindsight I wish we had booked Sugar Loaf and Christ the redeemer separately and just got taxis to these and the other places, it would have saved me a ton of money and at least 4 hours of my day.

Alessandro was an excellent guide, fluent in multiple languages during his commentaries en route. He did a great job of keeping our large group together through the multiple stops, and shepherding us to the front of the line for the pre-booked activities. We really enjoyed the Corcovado mountain rack-and-pinion railway ride from Cosme Velho up to the summit to see the Christ the Redeemer statue and view of Rio from 710 m above sea level, and the cable car ride to the top of Urca Hill and then onto the second cable car to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain. We also found fascinating the visits to the Selaron Steps and the Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint Sebastian. The included Brazilian barbecue lunch at Cruzeiro do Sul Churrascaria was delicious. We highly recommend to others this daylong trip with door-to-door pickup and dropoff at our hotel.

This should be a definite to anyone traveling to Rio, we had guide Sandra, who was able to translate everything in English for us. She was on time, very knowledgeable, and professional. We really enjoyed the tour.

Great tour which I would personally recommend to anyone visiting Rio de Janeiro. Our tour guide João was fantastic, knows a lot about the city and history, and allows for an authentic site seeing tour which covers the most important attractions in only one day. Also, he was giving enough time to explore and would spontaneously adjust the tour a little to make the best out of it. Many thanks to João for this amazing day in Rio de Janeiro!

The best trip to know the most important places in Rio de Janeiro. This excellent tour with Leandro as a guide and Pablo as the driver was carefully coordinated, with perfect timing. Leandro is an excellent guide, speaks fluid English and Spanish, and have a prompt answer for all the questions asked. Every minute of the tour was planned efficiently and the tourists can get the most every step of the way. Our time in Rio was short and we wanted to see a lot in little time. This was a perfect answer to our wishes. I recommend 100% Leandro as a guide, and the partnership with Paulo as a driver was the best!!!

Alan was an excellent tour guide, very informative and knowledgeable. Food at the lunch was great, sites were all great. Good timing and avoided most of the craziest crowdtimes.
