When I visit a country for the first time, I love going on trying out the food since I believe food gives a great story of a country’s culture. I think this tour filled my tummy but most importantly filled my heart with thw beautiful history that comes with it. Thank you Valeria for taking me around! I really enjoyed tasting peruvian food as well as getting to know the rich culture of Peru! Hopefully, I can come back! :)

Sheila was very friendly, spoke perfect English, and answered all of my questions and more. She even helped me find a rosary for my aunt! A wonderful tour guide, would highly recommend getting her as a guide. And the food was delightful, beef heart was a winner especially! All in all, a wonderful afternoon in Lima!

We had an excellent time on the tour! Our guide Aura was so knowledgeable and friendly and made the experience even more enjoyable. Our favourite was the pork belly sandwich! 10/10 would definitely recommend

I really enjoyed this tour! Recommend for the beginning of your trip to help you get a lay out of that part of the city .It was a good mix of history, culture and food! It never felt rushed and David was a great guide. I loved all the food selections!

Sheyla does a great tour around the old part of Lima. She is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and chooses some great little places to try the local cuisine, you certainly won’t go hungry, you try a huge variety of foods and drinks in little places that only the locals would know. She was so kind at the end in helping us find our taxi too. Recommended.

Amazing Tour with David. We enjoyed it very much. More than we expected, he brought us to wonderful places, delicous tradional food and to the lovely historical area, commerial area, food market. David explained everything very good and we had a lot of time enjoying sights and food stops! I absolut recommand this Tour. Thanks a lot David!

Sheyla had great knowledge about the old part of central Lima, and was one of the friendliest guides I've encountered. She showed us places that a normal tourist would never go to and opened our eyes to life as a local.
- Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
- Public transportation options are available nearby
- Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- It is really important to advise any specific dietary restrictions at time of booking, otherwise we cannot assure we will be able to adapt the menu the day of the tour.
- If you are pescatarian, vegetarian, vegan, or have a severe nuts or gluten allergy, please do not book this tour
- We ask you to provide your passport number and date of entry to Peru before the tour for all the tour participants (through an online form). Sending this information allow us to exonerate you from the 18% local tax as it confirms you're a foreign, and not living in the country. If you want to be exonerated from the tax, it's really important to send us your passport number and date of entry at least 1 day before the tour. You don't need to bring your passport to the tour.
