A wonderful way to learn mass transit and see Tokyo at the same time. Bruce was an excellent guide. Afterwards you should be able to navigate on your own.

A lot of walking!! We enjoyed seeing different parts of Tokyo from the local area of Yanaka where there are few skyscrapers to the green space of Uneo park & zoo. We saw a cultural dancing contest and a Japanese wedding at the Mejingu shrine. Seky was full of knowledge and a real gentleman. He even took us to the Pokémon store to shop for our grandchildren after the 6 hours had passed

Maki who was your guide for our private tour was amazing. She contacted us ahead of time and asked about our interests and planned a tour that was just perfect for our first ever trip to Tokyo. I would highly recommend this tour along with Maki to anyone who wants personalized tour and attention.

Yuki TSNODA is a wonderful tour guide. she helped us to learn and navigate the Tokyo Subway system, to set up a picnic lunch, and prepared specific materials with the schedule for our day, how much to set aside for Subway fair, and she wrote us a wonderful letter at the end. She is perfect like Gidget in the famous 60s movies. we love her.

We had an amazing experience exploring Tokyo with Kei san our private tour guide. From the start, his communication was excellent. He sent clear confirmation and itinerary emails that made planning easy. During the tour, he took us to many top attractions and hidden gems, sharing fascinating insights about Tokyo’s history, culture, and daily life. He was incredibly helpful in teaching us how to navigate the public transportation system and explaining local customs and unspoken rules. Throughout the day, Kei san was friendly, engaging, and passionate, making the whole experience both educational and fun. I highly recommend him to anyone visiting Tokyo!

Koji - San was our Tokyo tour guide for a day. He was very organised, structured and contacted us well in advance to plan the tour. He was courteous, knowledgeable and had a great personality. We all extremely enjoyed his company and the informative tour.

Maki is an excellent tour guide. She is very knowledgeable, shared the history of Japan and the various sites we visited and was a great photographer as well! I would highly recommend her.

I prefer a flexible and more personal service which a private guide usually provides. We agreed an itinerary that worked for us.

We had a great time with Shigeru. He was very responsive with his communication, and laid out an itinerary (with travel costs listed!). He was very knowledgeable about the history of the sites we visited, and we had no real language barrier issues (my partner and I only speak English). He was also helpful with temple etiquette! At one point, my partner lost an umbrella, and Shigeru was very patient and helpful about calling the location and locating the umbrella. We highly recommend that you bring shoes that are comfortable to walk in for long periods of time. Would recommend this experience, especially for those who haven't learned their way around Japan yet.

Haru was a well-informed guide for all the areas we visited and most prepared. He tailored the trip to our interests and helped us navigate the trains expertly. We saw areas of Tokyo we never would've experienced on our own. Highly recommend Haru as a guide and the 6 hour Private tour as the best option for seeing Tokyo! Kathy Wohleber
