Bill, the tour owner, is a gem. His teaching background and depth of Charleston history was incredible. The 2 hours just flew by. Well worth our time and will go back to him our next time in Charleston.

Bill was the most knowledgeable and interesting tour guide you can imagine. He had a lot of passion for what he does and if I ever come back or know anyone that wants to take a tour in Charleston I will 100% recommend him.

This was one of the best walking tours I have ever been on. Bill is a phenomenally knowledgeable guide who provides a telling of Charleston history well beyond that of historically questionable fun facts. If you want a tour that will reshape your understanding of the history of Charleston, the South, and the United States as a whole, I can not recommend this tour enough.

Bill Harris is the most knowledgeable and interesting tour guide you can imagine. He led an absolutely terrific tour and was funny too, plus very helpful with tour logistics.

Guide was very educated and passionate about sharing the less popular, although historically accurate facts about Charleston. I highly recommend this tour and look forward to bringing my brother, a history teacher, on this tour!

We had a really fantastic tour today with Bill. He was very knowledgeable and had a lot of information to share but presented it in a very engaging and memorable way. He adapted the tour to fit our interests and asked us what we wanted to get out of the tour. It was fascinating - he gave us a great mix of Charleston history, interesting anecdotes and recommendations, and we learnt a lot. Would highly recommend!
