Lisbon Oceanarium: Dive into Europe's Ocean Masterpiece!

Bought our tickets combined with the Yellow bus tour tickets and when we arrived there were huge queues, but luckily this ticket allowed us to skip the queues (worth every penny and the bus stop is at the aquarium). Friendly helpful staff. A really beautiful aquarium with an outstanding range of species. The tanks were clean, spacious and I got the sense the fish were well looked after. I always think of aquariums being a relaxing place, but due to the sheer volume of people visiting, some people pushing and some children screaming, it wasn’t the most relaxing experience. The walkways and spaces between the tanks were very dark, I appreciate it’s to get the best views from the tanks but a few more reflective floor strips wouldn’t go amiss. Excellent range of species from fish, sharks, rays and sea dragons to coral, penguins, puffins and otters! The otters were a personal highlight, as well as the leafy sea dragon. Myself and my sister spent 2.5 hours here. There are toilets, a gift shop and a cafe on site too.

Really enjoyed the visit. Some of the animals did look a bit unhappy though. A good mix of everything to see. It's one of those places that you go to, once and that's it. So when I say I wouldn't go again, it's not because I didn't enjoy it, I did. It's that, once you've been and seen it, what would change if you went again?

Great aquarium with some cool animals. It’s not the biggest aquarium but the exhibits are great. The aquascape exhibit was a highlight

It was amazing! Pretty short but awesome activitys, the movie and the observation of the sharks were our favorite! Really fun, but was kinda short

Really loved my visit. Not too crowded when I visited the amount of sea life and how on show they are is amazing. I really enjoyed my time here and the area around the place. Easily killed 2 hours here. I would love to re visit one day

This is a rather large aquarium with various sharks, fish, sting rays, etc. and is does not disappoint. There are many levels to enjoy this aquarium and it is a delight for the senses. I really like this aquarium.

Once your in you don't want to get out it's just an amazing place to visit ✨️ me and my partner went in for 2 hr we had to leave as we had other place to visit other wise would off stayed for another hour, I'll say no more so I don't spoil the fun if you're in Lisbon must visit special if have kids.

We immersed ourselves in a fascinating underwater world at the Oceanário de Lisboa and thoroughly enjoyed seeing the wide variety of marine animals. It was a wonderful and entertaining trip, which we combined with a visit to the Parque das Nações!

Really good experience, I suggest going for a chill time, it’s lovely to get out of the heat, sit in air con and watch the animals in the water, very relaxing

I love aquariums. This one has a fabulous center tank and the usual (but kind of sad) charismatic penguins and otters. Not a lot of signage so if you want to learn more, try an audio guide.
