Nice trip to visit the volcano island, the hot springs and Thirassia. Very affordable option for a qualitative time.

We enjoyed this excursion that took us to hike the volcano, swim in the hot springs, and visiting Thirassia. We visited in early October so it wasn’t too hot for the hike. The water was a little cold when we jumped in, but we got used to it quickly. The hot springs weren’t that hot but it was still a cool experience. We had gyros for lunch on Thirassia before heading back.

Overall, it was only okay. Not great, not horrable. It all started with checking in. Our tender dropped us off very early, so I went to check in. The lady behind the desk resonated a "i really dont wanna be here" energy as well as being short and quite rude to me telling me to come back at 9:45am to check in. Upon checking in later, we were told to wait in a line that really turned into a giant pile of people that the staff did nothing to control. We boarded the boat and all of our boat staff was fantastic. They helped my wife get on and get off with my 1 year old who sometimes was sleeping. They were polite when we talked to them. The locations were pretty. But we has some issues as well. Up first was the Volcano. It was very pretty but was mostly a walking trail with very loose lava stone gravel. Felt like there wasn't much there for the 5 euro entrance fee. Secondly was the hot springs swim. This is where we had the biggest issue. We were not told that the swim would be from the boat, so my wife and I did not wear our suits onto the boat because we thought there would be somewhere to change like all of the other hot springs we have been to and not wanting to hike up a volcano in a swim suit. Also with the swim, we only had 30 minutes to swim, and this included the get in and get out process. Normally this would be fine but once I got in, we had to swim about 50 meters to the spring. By the time I was able to get in and swim over, they blew the horn saying it was time to come back. It would have been nice having 45 mins or an hour there. Lastly was the town of Theresa. We loved this area. The reatraunt we ate at was reasonable and the food was good. We took our 1 year old along the coast and let her play in the water. On our way back we took the long way back past Oia and Fira, not unpleasant, but made our ride back to the island approximately an hour and 20 mins. It was unexpected. Overall, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't somthing I would do again.

Great all around experiences of the sites around Santorini! It includes a small hike, a short swim, and a lengthy break and Thirasia for lunch or other leisure activities! Definitely worth a short day trip.

Fantastic trip - definitely book but read the following tips! Lovely overall trip. Lots of lovely time on the sea and on the boat. Really fantastic value for money. 1) Wear a dark swimsuit 2) Bring a towel and wear sports clothes over the top that dry quickly 3) Wear water shoes - there are rocks under the water at the hot springs, watch out as it shallows! 4) Bring a water bottle 5) The trip is still worth while even if you don't want to swim - I am a nervous swimmer but they provide a float and once you're in, it was fine. A ladder was provided - you don't have to jump 6) Bring a snorkel goggle for the free time to explore the underwater world in your free time We took the public bus and cable car (land slide on the path), it is €10 euros per person, cash and card, but much like everywhere else, cash is preferred Overall a lovely day and worth while going!

Pick up as arranged, fortunately we were at the location 10 minutes early as the minibus driver seemed to be in a tearing hurry. We were all dropped on the quayside with no instructions and no boat insight. After about 20 minutes, and some wandering about to try and work out exactly where we should wait not one but two likely looking boats came into view. One vessel was empty the other already had a lot of passengers on board who possibly join at the Old port Fira. Having found a person holding a clipboard we were told to join a queue of people recently disembarked from a coach. We were all checked off the list and boarded onto the one boat the other left port empty. Given the time of year we were surprised how full the boat was, with little space to move around.. Once on board the day unfolded as expected. Visiting the volcano, time for a quick swim in the hot springs and lunch and some beach time on Thirassia. There were two guides with us providing information and good commentary at points along the way.. Overall well organised and value for money

Very nice experience overall. The boat was nice and clean with a friendly crew. Tour guide was knowledgeable. Only negative for me was the 2nd stop with hot springs. The hot springs is an area closer to coast and not on land. You had to jump off the boat into sea and swim 20-30 ft to enjoy hot springs. People not swimming were struck on the boat.

These are three of the must do’s when visiting Santorini Greece. My favorite was the volcano. The view from up there was amazing and the crew of the boat were great. Be advised you should be in at least avg shape to make this excursion.

Highly recommend; a way to get out in the water in Santorini and see the natural beauty. Make sure you bring a bathing suit, towel, water and ideally water shoes.
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- For the volcano tour, wear comfortable shoes, a sun hat, and bring water.
- Dark swimsuits are recommended to avoid sulfur stains.
- A minibar is available on board for water and snacks.
- Bring sunscreen for sunny days or a light jacket if it’s windy.
- Swimming in the hot springs is not recommended for pregnant individuals or those with heart issues or serious medical conditions.
