Vatican VIP: Skip-the-Line Sistine Chapel & St. Peter's Tour
A holiday in Rome without visiting the Vatican is like a day at the beach without swimming in the sea. See the best of the Vatican museums and gain direct entrance with skip-the-line access to the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica, while our excellent guides entertain you with stories that go with each masterpiece. This budget-friendly tour is the best value for money for travelers that are interested in 1) seeing the museum’s highlights 2) meeting a new friend or two through your group and 3) skipping the lines (trust us, with over 6 million tourist spilling into the museum every year, you'll want it!) Disclaimer: you will be entering the Vatican museum during one of the busiest times of the day. While the tour provides skip-the-line access, the crowds in the museum vary from day to day and some delay with security can be expected (it would be misleading for other tour operators to not tell you this!)

The tour guide Norman was the best tour guide I have ever been with. Very informative and very funny. I highly recommend him as a guide. Made the experience great. 5+ stars

The tour feels like a race to get through. No stopping to regroup or share information. Part of the group gets separated with so many people and then your headset loses contact with the tour guide because she gets so far ahead of the back of the group. Im assuming this no stopping thing is due to the guards saying to keep moving, but people need to know this before choosing to spend so much money. Go early at opening time and buy your own ticket for less than 30 euros each.

Andy was such a fun and friendly guide! He kept everyone entertained with his great sense of humor while sharing lots of interesting facts. The tour flew by thanks to him!

It’s a long tour… our guide was very knowledgable and looked after everyone. It’s a blitz of sooo many things to see in the museum that it’s had to absorb things. The Sistine Chapel amazing and guide explained things very well beforehand! We were due to also visit St. Peters Basilica but it was closed (outside guides control) but that was a disappointment and we had to leave Rome before another tour could be organised.

Carl was very friendly, knowledgeable and funny. He kept the tour group together, which can be difficult with the crowds. His English was excellent. Brilliant tour. Paying extra for skip the line was so worth it. I picked the 12.00pm tour and when finished with the Vatican and Basilica the sun was setting in St Peter’s square, was stunning to see

The tour was very beautiful and informative. Tourists should wear comfortable shoes. Lots of walking but well worth it. Very large crowds so it’s important to follow your tour guide. Would recommend this tour to anyone that doesn’t mind walking.

Our tour guide "Carl" was a fantastic guide we did the Vatican museum tour on 4th November he's knowledge was amazing and so in depth with detail, we were so pleased that we decided to go on a guided tour rather than do it ourselves and skipping the ques would be the best decision you'll make. we would highly recommend using this company, our group wasn't huge with probably 20 people in it which was just enough . Headset commentary though out tour.
- Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
- Public transportation options are available nearby
- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- Unforeseen events= The Vatican is its own country and therefore the Pope can decide also last minute to close St. Peter’s Basilica for ad hoc events. It is a very rare event during the year but it is possibile and we will do our best to inform you. If it is too late to inform you, our guide will extend the tour in the Vatican. Not to worry that the incredibile collection of Vatican Museums and the masterpiece of Michelagelo in the Sistine Chapel will still be included.
- Most of our tours include the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. However, there are two specific options with different inclusions. You will find below:
- Museums & SISTINE CHAPEL Tour – Includes the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel but does NOT include St. Peter’s Basilica.
- ST.PETER'S BASILICA TOUR – Includes St. Peter’s Basilica but does NOT include the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel.
