Tara was a wonderful captain. Funny, informative and flexible. A little rain was not a problem. Her knowledge of the area was extensive. Highly recommend!!

We chartered the 37' Axopar's for a 6 hour trip around St John’s, snorkeling, and lunch at lime out. Stormy Pirates was easy to work with and answered all my questions. Capt Kenny was extremely knowledgeable and an awesome guide for a day in the USVI. We saw several turtle, and eagle ray, and tons of other marine life. The boat was modern and clean. We originally wanted to stop at pizza pi, but it was not open yet for the season. The food at lime out was extremely good. All in all a fantastic trip that was definitely one of our top vacation memories.

Had a great time catching a ride to Lime Out, snorkeling and enjoying pizza. My wife was thrilled she finally swam with Sea Turtles at Christmas Cove. Jackson and Tyler treated us well and kept our boat ride in order.

We had the Best Day and Amazing Crew (Captain Tyler & Maeve)! From the beginning to the end, the crew was so professional and provided great serve...Maeve was the best bartender and told us all about the islands and history as we passed by. We were able to snorkel a few Great spots, including Salt Pond which can only get to by boat or long hike. The food was great at Lime Out and the after pizza hit the spot.

A great experience with stops at fun locations. Kenny and Suzanna were awesome. Beautiful beaches and great snorkeling stops along with a great time on the boat between each stop.

Highly recommend. Pizza and drinks included on boat. Limeout Tacos were awesome! Overall trip was phenomenal. It’s almost like somebody threw 10 random people on a boat as an experiment in social engineering, and selected two experts with two separate job descriptions to run the show. The only reason it was not catastrophic emotionally, psychologically or mentally was because of Captain Mave. She obviously understands what emotional safety is. We could have been totally pissed at each other, all 10 of us. Or just getting on each others’ nerves. I, for one, was nervous leading up to the trip about this. Because who wants to get stuck on a boat with 10 people who maybe don’t like you or maybe don’t want to be friends. Or maybe they wish you didn’t even exist on their boat ride. What if my existence on the boat is not welcomed by whoever these random people are going to be? Captain Mave is prolly in her mid twenties and she served as the first mate and bartender for our trip. Eternally optimistic, I think she was responsible for the emotional, psychological, and overall vibe of the trip. She started out with the tone in her voice like she was a flight instructor or something as she gave us directions for safety type stuff, but she transitioned quickly into chatting it up with us each individually and I noticed that once she could tell that two people were chatting away and telling their life stories to each other, Mave felt satisfied with that mini conversation effort, and moved over to another set of people to strike up some more conversations. She was juggling a bunch of different conversations and managing ropes and anchors like a first mate should. I bet her dad is really proud of her and how she is all grown up now. She is totally boss, and topped everybody’s glass off with rum, fruit punch and the glass is always half full kind of attitude. Make sure to ask for Mave. You won’t regret it! Captain Tyler: prolly in his mid thirties and dude acted like he has zero personality. He was laser focused on his job of steering the boat. I mean, he was nice in a professional sense in that he gave his instructions in a nice way. Very courteous. But dude was so focused on driving the boat that I couldn’t ever get him to open up and laugh at my jokes etc. I tried to be his friend but I don’t think he wanted anybody to be his friend. Every 30 minutes or an hour I would carry my fruit punch drink up to the front and check on Captain Tyler. I was trying to get him to be human by telling him stories from my childhood and funny jokes. Dude never cracked a smile even. Total robocop. In hindsight, I’m glad he was focused on charting our course, and executing the mission. Nobody wants somebody cracking jokes and cutting up while carrying the responsibility of the craft in the ocean. I get it now. But, I still think he should learn some knock knock jokes or something, even if he doesn’t smile. Just to let people know that he is human. In fact, if you go on this trip, you should bring some knock knock jokes of your own and try them out on Captain Tyler. Anyways, they worked well as a team because he was all super serious about safety and rules and instructions, and she was too but she was also super focused on managing the environment while he managed the mechanics, utilities and measurements. I have to say that I’m ready to do it again, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Excellent Experience!

Capt. Tara was amazing! She was informative about local lore, skilled at every aspect of dealing with the boat and she had a killer playlist! My group of 8 was celebrating a birthday and our day on the boat was one of the trip highlights!

Excellent day in the water!!! Every year we try and do some kind of snorkel excursion. This trip was the best! Captain Brandon, Heather and Kevin where fantastic. Very friendly and pointed out a lot of history of the islands we passed on our way. Lime out is a must. Great experience making friends and excellent tacos. We snorkeled two spots but it was nice to be able to float off the boat too. Pizza was delivered by dinghy and it was really good. Very relaxing day. Thank you Brandon Heather and Kevin. You guys are the best!!!!!
