Mont Cradle: Excursion Active Époustouflante depuis Hobart

On recommande vraiment cette excursion. Sam se charge de toute la logistique et veille à ce que tout se passe bien. Visiter Cradle Mountain en un seul jour A/R permet de voir un autre aspect de la Tasmanie. Nous avions eu de la chance avec la météo certes, car les vues ne seraient pas toujours aussi spectaculaires, mais Sam fait en sorte que tout le groupe s’amuse.

Magnifique endroit, pour les amoureux de la nature. Pour cette journée qui dure plus de 14h, vous n'aurez que 4h en randonnée, le reste se passe en route et arrêt pour vos besoins et restaurants à vos frais. Le van était minuscule et très inconfortable. Pour revenir nous avons dû jouer à la chaise musicale, parce que des gens assis derrière se sont plaint qu'ils voulaient s'asseoir à l'avant, et le chauffeur à acquiescé à leurs demandes, selon son expression ce n'était pas un big deal. Beaucoup de gens étaient furieux. Jamais je ne referai une excursion avec ce tour opérateur

Superbe journée pour découvrir la Tasmanie et Cradle Mt avec Sam ! La journée était bien chargée mais très fluide et permet de voir une grande partie de l'île. Sam a été un très bon guide pour nous faire découvrir ce bout de pays avec des petits arrets sur la route et des explications le long du chemin.

We joined the Cradle Mountain tour with Sam and had an excellent experience. The weather changed a few times during the day, but Sam was well prepared and handled everything smoothly. Some guests weren’t dressed warmly enough, and he kindly lent jackets to them. His instructions were always clear, and he had good backup plans - the cafe which we originally was supposed to go to had a power outage but Sam promptly reacted to it and arranged with the other cafe (with excellent food too!) beforehand so that we could be on schedule. For dinner, he did the same and took our orders in advance - highly efficient! +++ Sam was attentive throughout the day and ensured everyone was comfortable . We also appreciated the small local snack he offered — what nice touch it was! Sam is very knowledgeable and shared information at a good pace. He was also responsive on text and punctual. Something that stood out: my husband left his Australian hat in the vehicle. Sam found it, messaged us, and later delivered it to our hotel even though he didn’t have to. We really appreciated that extra effort. Overall, we felt well looked after from start to finish. Highly recommend this tour and Sam as a guide.

Its beautiful, even though the weather was notso great . It had trails for all kinds of age groups. The tour guide Sam was exceptional in his knowledge and very caring to us .

Absolutely LOVED this trip! Sam was amazing - he gave us a beautiful, informative, adventure that was filled with short stops in quaint villages. I climbed to the top of Marion's lookout - this was my first hike ever (and i'm 56!).. how exhilarating! I did it!!! What a feat - I am proud of myself and the reward was a spectacular view in cool, crisp air, with new friends. Waterfalls, wombats and wallabies greeted us as we were returning down the mountain. I did 5 more tours across Tasmania and New Zealand after this one and THIS TOUR WAS MY FAVOURITE. THANK YOU, SAM!

Well worth the long day for the chance to see Cradle Mountain and hike. Sam was an excellent driver and guide.

It's a full day of road trippin' with beautiful landscape views, great walking, wildlife (including wombats), and fresh air. Sam is a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. If you're based in Hobart on your travels but curious about seeing a bit of the rest of Tassie while getting in some hiking or walking - this day trip is for you.

This was a great experience for me. I was in Tasmania for the first time and decided to explore the areas in and around Hobart. However, as I love nature, I couldn’t miss out on Cradle Mountain. This day tour allowed me to enjoy a beautiful afternoon of trekking while being able to return to Hobart in the evening. Sam, our guide, took great care of us. He took us to lovely local businesses to enjoy delicious food and shared a lot of details about Cradle Mountain and the nearby areas.

This tour really was great! It's an early start at 6am, but Sam is good enough to pick you up from close to your accommodation, so that definitely helps. There are some stops along the way (including hearty breakfast) allowing time for photos, and taking in the scenery. Sam himself is very friendly, and the group size is small at ~10 people, so you get to know everyone a bit by the end. We got to Cradle at 10:30, did a rain forest walk, Dove Lake itself at 12:30 pm, and left at 4:30 pm, so a solid 5-6 hours of exploring, with different hiking tracks available. There was also a nice dinner on the way back to Hobart. For what you get including travel there and back, ticket entry to the mountain, and several hours there, I feel the fee is pretty fair. This tour is best for people with limited time to travel up to Cradle, and if you don't have access to a car. But would definitely recommend it to anyone! Thanks Sam!
