La plupart d'entre nous ont grandi en regardant le parrain et je ne pensais pas que je me rendrais à un endroit où une partie du film a été tournée. Les guides touristiques Laura et Tana ont été très aimables et nous ont fourni de l’eau et une pâtisserie sicilienne afin de mettre en scène et de nous aider à découvrir la beauté de la Sicile. . Nous avons commencé à cette ville où ce café pittoresque s'est reposé et où Michael a vu son Apolonia. J'y retournerais juste pour avoir l'espresso et le canolo à la pistache (oui j'ai orthographié correctement vous allez apprendre pourquoi). L'histoire de la région était très intéressante et les filles ont été très patientes pour garder le groupe ensemble. La ville de Taormina était un délice. Beaucoup de shopping et de différents aliments à essayer. Nous assistons à un mariage sicilien et c'était un atout supplémentaire pour notre journée. Je recommande vivement cette tournée en particulier, vous ne le regretterez pas.

My trip was truly enriching. I really appreciated the small touches, like the cookies and water, and how Elisa thoughtfully accommodated everyone, including those with limited mobility. I discovered so many new things about Sicily that I never knew before. We had plenty of time at each stop to shop, dine, or simply enjoy the beautiful views.

Our guide Elisa and the driver were excellent. Very knowledgeable and the driver kept us safe on the high winding roads. This was the only thing I didn’t enjoy as I’m afraid of heights and steep roads.

From start to finish we had an amazing experience doing this tour! We received a message up front telling us where to go and who to look for after getting off our cruise ship. Our tour guide was wonderful! She treated us to specialty cookies from a local bakery and water. She was attentive and very informed regarding Sicily and its surrounding areas. She gave the older folks time to catch up and kept a full accounting of her group. She was very accommodating and ended the trip with a big hug! Loved her cheerful attitude!

This was a fun small group tour. Taormina was nice, though a little crowded, but Savoca, where the Godfather was filmed, was great. We toured the town and our tour guide made the whole experience fun, tying in what we saw to the movie. We saw cruise tours with bus loads of people and our smaller group was so much better. We had free time in Taormina, which was mostly shopping and because it was fairly crowded we just hung out at a cafe and had some wine. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Catia did a wonderful job guiding us through Savoca and explaining the scenes filmed there for the movie. What we loved most was her relationship with the lovely people of this village and watching as they greeted her warmly and exchanged conversations! Taormina was a delightful visit as well and Catia made a wonderful lunch recommendation! Claudia’s excellent driving skills were also much appreciated. We would highly recommend their tour to others!

Very well organized tour that kept you well informed about logistics of the tour. Claudia was our guide and she was great as was the driver. Very informative and plenty of time for browsing and shopping at the stops. Transportation vehicle was good for about 18 in the group, which was a good size. I would recommend this tour for cruise travelers while in Messina!

Although it rained, it did NOT affect the quality of this tour one bit! Our guide was Katia and she was OUTSTANDING! She went above and beyond to make lemonade out of lemons (because of the rain)...Her wealth of information combined with her funny wit made it an absolute wonderful tour! My husband has a bad ankle (actually and artificial ankle) and with the rain, could not make it all the way the hill (or more importantly we were concerned about the slipperiness of the hill downward) to the Church used in the Godfather... Katia insisted he take her umbrella to use to help stabilize himself on the way down from where we were...she ended up being soaked! She pointed out so many things about the movie along our drive as well as when we were in the area walking around. We were actually one of the few that got to go into the Vitrelli Bar, sit down and enjoy a drink while others were up at the church! The driver as well was awesome, negotiating the winding roads, narrow streets like a pro! ABSOLUTELY hands down, recommend this tour with THIS company! Communication with them was FANTASTIC! AWESOME!!!! If you don't do this excursion, you are missing out. Although it rained all day, our guide Katia and driver Emanual were both exceptional. They both looked after our safety as their #1 item. From driving to walking on slippery surfaces. Katia is very, very knowledgeable on Sicily as a whole. The God Father experience was really cool. Walking down from the church, the views, bar and reception area. Stopped for some wine and of course the bakery. Then off to Taromina shopping, drinking and of course more eating. Katia kept us updated on text of meeting points, times, very patient, knowledgeable and kind. Thank you to both of them for taking such good care of us and making this experience one to put in our books. We'll be back!
