N’allez surtout pas payer très cher des gens incompétents pour faire ce que vous pouvez visiter seul extrêmement simplement !! Il est aisé de se promener à pied dans ce charmant petit village, y rencontrer des habitants adorables pourvu d’apprendre au moins quelques mots, de flâner au gré des ruelles jusqu’au château vénitien et d’en admirer la vue. Oubliez tout tour organisé surtout !!

Un mot: fantastique! ! ! Georgia était absolument incroyable! Elle savait tout sur Santorin, y compris le site généalogique Akrotiri. Elle nous a pris en voiture dans notre hôtel, nous a emmenés faire un tour du sud de Santorin, y compris le phare, des explications sur les points de repère, les cultures et les bâtiments, puis nous a présenté un examen approfondi du site Akrotiri Archealogical. Site. Nous avons été tellement captivés tout au long de la tournée et avons continué à poser des questions, mais le Géorgien a continué à répondre avec une connaissance approfondie. Même notre enfant de 13 ans interagissait et posait des questions! ! Je recommande vivement la visite privée. Cela vaut chaque centime!

We were lucky enough to have Georgia fit us in for a private guided tour of Akrotiri at the last minute. She was kind enough to arrange round-trip transportation to the site and meet us there. Our tour flew by as Georgia (an officially licensed guide) provided fascinating details about Akrotiri, supplemented by images on her iPad to help us understand the history and significance behind the ruins and ongoing excavation. The archeological site provides very little signage and information, so having a tour with someone of Georgia’s caliber was really necessary. If you’re planning to visit the site, it’s so worth it to have Georgia bring it all to life for you!

My wife and I had a fabulous and informative private tour of Akrotiri with Georgia Dimas in May 2024. Georgia has expert level knowledge of Akrotiri. Her use of media on her tablet added to the tour’s quality. Georgia is very personable and she speaks fluent English Her presentation was very well crafted and she was responsive in reply to our many questions. The pace of the 90 minute tour was very comfortable. We highly recommend Georgia to lead your tour of Akrotiri and we suspect her tours of other sights in Santorini and Athens would be equally great.

Seeing the pottery with the original drawings that the archeologists were able to preserve. Enjoyed learning about how the ancient community adapted to have access to water.

Seeing how people lived thousands of years ago, water, art, homes, streets, furnishings, it was incredible. The downside is our guide went through quite quickly, walking past some sights that we would liked to have paused to ask questions and learn more.

I chose Georgia’s tour based on rating…and I wholeheartedly add my recommendation!! Her passion and knowledge made the tour a great experience. To walk thru the excavation on your own without understanding and appreciating what you’re viewing is a waste, because there are only a few placards (and they don’t offer detailed descriptions). Her knowledge and iPad supplemental pictures were interesting and informative!! She went at our pace and we were very comfortable asking questions. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Our guide was terrific. Very knowledgeable and engaging. She knew her material and explained many things.

Guide Georgia brought the exposed parts of the town to life. She pointed out the “modern” features we did not expect in 3600 year old town. A must see for anyone interested in history or archeology

Convenient hotel pick up and return by friendly/ experienced drivers. Had to buy our entrance tickets. Guide was knowledgeable. Just did her script. Next…..
