Lac Rose en Buggy: Aventure Exclusif & Époustouflante

We were taken in. dune buggy through sand dunes to Pink Lake. This man made lake is a most beautiful deep pink due to algae bloom. The pink sand piped from the lake is used to produce garnet at local refineries. The ride itself was thrilling. Through bush scattered undulating dunes. Great for families with kids over five - very bumpy. Unfortunately we were a little early for the best of the wildflower season but still lots of lovely acacias in bloom. Our guide was very knowledgeable which made the experience all the better.

A pleasurable one hour zipping through the sand dunes and some stops looking at the pink lake. Did get jolted around more than we would have initially thought, we were okay but just mentioning it to others.

Amazing - informative, well paced and beautiful views! Definitely recommend! The weather was pretty average but the tour went ahead luckily there was a break I. The weather and the sun came out! Either way the experience was terrific!

Great way to see the lake and the surrounding landscape of sand dunes and shrubs. Includes excellent views of the area, including the reef and the town as well as the pink lake, from some of the highest vantage points. Guide is knowledgeable and friendly, and also a skilled buggy driver -- able to navigate narrow paths through the dues. It's like the Big Thunder Mountain ride at Disney, but with bumps. And the lake really was pink on the day of our tour -- although the color varies a lot from day to day, according to the guide.

If you get the opportunity do this tour. It was a great experience with the tour guide giving us better views of the lake than the lookout and history of the area. I highly recommend the experience

One of my favourite experience of our trip. Sam was lovely and so informative. definately worth it, my Toddler loved it too.

It was the best experience we had since arriving to Geraldton. Sam was brilliant in her commentary as we went across the beach and up into the sand dunes.... experienced, professional, friendly and simply outstanding!!
