Escapade Bleue Lindos: Croisière Prestige, Baignade & Transferts

Très belle journée ! Personnel sympathique et agréable. La seule déception est le nombre de personne à bord du bateau. Un plus petit comité aurait été plus agréable. Attention, il fait très très chaud à Lindos en juillet.

Trop de monde sur le bateau, et si on veut rester à l'ombre difficile de trouver une place assise. Lindos sans grand intérêt, et une chaleur à crever, à tel point qu'on n'a pas pu aller jusqu'à l'acropole tellement la chaleur était intense. Il eut été préférable de partir plus tôt afin de pouvoir bénéficier d'une chaleur plus tolérable. La côte pour rejoindre le village est raide et difficile, je ne recommande vraiment pas pour les personnes à mobilité réduite. L'arrêt baignade était OK.

Longue croisière ou l’on fait plus de transport que de visite. Il vaut mieux y être attentif, ça peut vite être pénible. Départ à 9h00 arrivé à Lindos à 12h avec un arrêt baignade de 20-30mins entre temps. A Lindos il nous est laissé à peine 3h de temps de visite. C’est cour, juste le temps de se balader dans le village et manger un morceau. Vu la canicule de l’été, il nous est fortement déconseillé d’entamer l’ascension vers l’Acropole. Niveau de l’accueil rien à redire. Ce bateau est quand même bien plus petit que d’autre mais dispose d’un petit snacking et de toilettes très propres. Gros coup de gueule pour les fenêtres qu’un des membre du personnel a décidé d’ouvrir, alors que nous entamions le retour, laissant entre toute la chaleur et de couper la climatisation, sachant que la période est caniculaire. Nous avons tous souffert du chaud, car si nous nous étions mis a cette endroit c’était surtout pour profiter du frais. Vitesse de croisière très faible.

Bien organisé mais l’horaire est plutôt mal choisi. Se retrouver a Lindos entre 12 heures et 15 heures et monter a l’acropole sous un soleil de plomb=pas top. Sinon les arrêts baignades et l’expérience en elle même superbe!

There are multiple operators who offer this trip so we asked our hotel concierge who they recommend and they said these guys. The hotel organized it for us and we were provided with a voucher and pick up instructions. We were staying at the Atrium Platinum and the bus stop is a few meters from the hotel. The bus into Rhodes was immaculate and there wasn't too many pick ups en route. Once there, you're greeted by a rep who directs you to your particular boat. We were on board the Triton. I'm fortunate to have done a few boat trips over the years and I have never been on board one that was cleaner, better staffed or on which the drinks and snacks were so reasonable. The trip takes 2.5hrs with a swimming stop each way. We were a bit unfortunate that it wasn't exactly scorching hot, however I'm sure on a roasting hot day this would be a welcome stop. Anthony Quinn bay on the way to Lindos is stunning, we felt the stop on the way back was less special..but again that might well have been because it was a bit dull. Lindos is pretty but be warned, even in October it was extremely busy. We went to the Acropolis via the walking route which winds through the narrow streets full of shops and cafes. I found the sensation a bit like that of leaving a sporting event or big concert...throngs of people almost pushing you along. Difficult to stop without feeling like a total pain to others! The Acropolis itself is worth a visit and the views are beautiful, however if you've watched YouTube or Tictoc be aware that the perfect photo is difficult...there are people everywhere. There are a few signs to explain what you are looking at but if you really want to appreciate the Acropolis, I'd suggest a guided tour is the way to do it. There are no ear buds or models of how things would have looked so it's quite difficult to take in whilst negotiating the crowds and trying not to be a pain to others. The walking is tricky underfoot. I would suggest giving this a miss if you have mobility issues. Likewise, the walk up is fairly steep and there are no safety rails for the walk back down, so if you are not good with heights...like my husband...be warned. We came back via the donkey route which, whilst a bit slippy so you need to take care, has no drop offs and is a much better option if you don't like heights. If we were to go back we would instead visit St Paul's bay instead..it looks absolutely beautiful ❤️ We ran out of time. The beach at Lindos is gorgeous, especially if you've been staying near Ixia with all its shingle. There are lovely places to eat, drink and watch the world go by All in all I would highly recommend this trip..the boat is great, the crew are great. If you really want to enjoy the town and the Acropolis, it might be best to hire a car and get there before all the boat trips descend. We had a great day.

We had a really good, friendly driver who brought a lot of good humor with him. Lindos and the Acropolis were amazing 🤩!!

Trip was very well organized. We actually missed our pick up at the hotel (my fault) and although we had to get a taxi they did send a SMS and rang me twice to make sure we didn't miss the trip, without that we would have missed it and lost our money, so I'm very grateful. I will definitely book another trip when we come back. Boat clean, stops amazing.well done to the crew.

The coach picked up from the hotel on time with the added bonus of the tour guide ensuring everyone was collected!! This was great as many coaches didn't wait to make sure all passengers were present!! A prompt transfer from Blue Bay to Rhodes, a few stops along the main road and arrived within half an hour. Your guide explained the drop off and pick up locations and times, all staff and drivers super helpful and good English language. Excellent trip and would highly recommend!! Even ended up with our own fancy minibus for just our hotel!! Perfect day!!

Fabulous swimming stops and Lindos is beautiful with several cafes and tavernas. Walking uphill in the heat to the acropolis ( we arrived at noon) was too much for me but others managed it. I was disappointed that our return transfer was considerably delayed as we waited for another tour group to join our bus. It made a long day too long.

Great trip. Friendly staff on the speed boat and perfect amount of time to visit the Acropolis, have lunch and a wander around. Beautiful swimming spot on the way back - the perfect cool down.
