La Valette Secrète: Visite Privée Exclusive & Initiée

Belle visite de La Valette, nous avons apprécié. Notamment la visite guidée de la co-cathédrale. Notre guide Loraine était vraiment très bien! Avec un très bon niveau de français 👍 Je ne mets pas la note maximale car la visite a été annulée la veille de la date prévue (msg whatsapp) et nous avons eu peur qu’elle ne puisse pas être maintenue. Mais cela s’est finalement bien debouclé! Et nous en sommes très contents ☺️

A great fun and informative tour with Mariella. She gave us such a wonderful insight into Malta and its history. We all fell I love with both her and Valletta.

Poor service & tour. We were offered 3 & 4 hour tours on a Sunday at €135 or €180, the fourth hour was stated as a guided tour of St John's, and we paid for four. Our guide arrived 1/2 hour late, out of breath, informing us that St John's is closed to tours on Sunday and asked why we booked for 4 hours. We were offered a refund for the 4th hour and accepted only receiving €25 of the €45 difference for the fourth hour. Sadly, our guide also seemed quite ill and had trouble speaking and was frequently out of breath. It was not Chris who was mentioned in other reviews. Our guide had trouble walking the ups and downs of Malta and we (both over 65) were left constantly waiting and frequently stopping. We learnt more reading museum plaques than from explanations. We wrote to Chris, who wrote us signing off as 'guide and founder' with our problems and he did not reply. Too much success or lost interest?

We had a wonderful personal tour with Mariella Schembri in Valletta. I would like to express my gratitude for her insightful and honest perspective on Malta’s history and its transformation over time. Mariella's deep knowledge and openness truly made us fall in love with this beautiful island and its capital. During our tour, we visited Valletta’s most important landmarks, including St. John's Co-Cathedral and its stunning Caravaggio paintings. We also greatly appreciated Mariella’s recommendations on must-see destinations for the rest of our trip, as well as her helpful advice on how to get there. We highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an enriching and memorable experience in Valletta!

We took 2 trips with MyDreamMalta ..this one, Valletta private walking tour (3 hours) as well as a similar tour of Mdina/Rabat (2 hours). Both tours were really excellent. There were 4 of us on the tour and although such private tours are not cheap these were great value because of the quality of the tour guides. Carmen took us around Valletta and she made our day. Kind, friendly, knowlegeable and so informative. No question was too much and she tailored the tour to our needs. Full marks.

Lovely walking tour around Valletta. Would highly recommend. Tour and history were fascinating! 3 hours went by very quick!

We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour with Mariella. We chose our cruise ship based on its itinerary and really wanted to see this wonderful cosmopolitan island, loaded with history and wonderful people & cuisine. Mariella met us at our preferred location and took us to the places we asked, plus a private boat ride across the harbor. Will definitely go back again & tour even more of Malta with this company.

This place is beautiful. The history is exciting. We went for a day on a cruise but I’d love to go back to explore this place further.

The guide was 30 minutes late and tried to say we weren’t where we were supposed to be. I then showed her the confirmation email and we were standing in the exact spot she said. She basically lied to us. We had booked 4 hours and at 2 hours 45 minutes she asked to quit the tour. I loved the city but not the guide.
