It’s definitely eating where the locals eat. An eye opener. Lots of food to try and like or dislike.

Kevin our guide was excellent, he took us to places we would have never considered eating. He explained all about the food and its origins, the whole evening was brilliant. Thoroughly recommend the food experience and having Kevin as your guide

Janice was an excellent guide. We visited a range of places to sample foods that as tourists we would never have tried. The food was exquisite and it felt very authentic and local. Janice was great company and told us lots of interesting facts. We had a memorable experience that we will cherish forever.

I went on a food tour with my son in Penang. Kevin was fantastic, he took us to 5 different places, and we got to taste lots of different foods. He explained the origins of the dishes, talked a lot about the fusion of cultures within Penang. He was informative and really helpful. We were stuffed by the end of the tour, so much food!!! He also took us on a drive around Penang and gave us some insight to the history. Thank you Kevin, I would certainly recommend you to any friends who plan to come to Penang.

**Amazing Local Food Experience with Kevin!** Just finished this food tour last night and it was fantastic. Kevin was an awesome guide who took us to hidden spots we never would have found on our own. We got super lucky being the only ones on the tour, which made it feel really personal. Kevin was happy to answer all our questions and explain the local food scene and history. It felt more like exploring with a local friend than a typical tour. By the end, we understood so much more about the area - not just the food, but the culture behind everything. Kevin really made this an authentic “eat like a local” experience. Very good tour. We had 5 different locations to go to and Kevin was very informative about all the food and all the locations. Everyone had different highlights. For me it was the pork sausage on the Chinese jetty and also the Indian at the end of the night. Well worth the time.

Junie was absolutely amazing. Not only was this a food tour but a history of Penang culture. Driving meant that we were able to cover large distances, Junie is magic at squeezing into tight spaces. I tried about 15 dishes, im vegetarian, and Junie made sure I was well catered for. My favourite was the lady making the pancakes, and the first noodle dish, followed closely by the paper thin Dhosa. If you get hold of the Penang Street food Map, you see many of the dishes. The Clan jetties are super interesting and the fried tofu was to die for. 5 Stars.

Fantastic experience! Mr Kevin picked us up from our hotel and drove us around Georgetown. We made 5 different stops to try multiple food items which represented the different cultures living in Georgetown.
