Philadelphia: Walk with Founders, Forge Your Revolutionary Story

Entertaining and engaging lesson in history! Our tour guide, Josh, made the walk fun and ensured everyone in the group participated. I learned a lot the history books left out.

Tour was great! Josh knows his stuff and is very entertaining! Much better than wandering around on your own. Great to learn the stuff most everyone knows but also lots of little known facts.

It was a wonderful tour with Joshua as our guide. It was both informative and entertaining, and had a great mix of walking and seeing a great number of sites while also having a chance to sit and listen to some great stories and history. I was with my 10-year-old son and we both had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend it

recently took the 2-hour History of Philadelphia Walking Tour, and it was absolutely fantastic! Our guide, Wendy, was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the city’s past. From Independence Hall to Elfreth’s Alley, every stop came with fascinating stories that brought the founding of our nation to life. What I especially appreciated was how she balanced well-known historical facts with lesser-known anecdotes that made the experience feel personal and unique. The pace was perfect—enough time to take in the sights, snap photos, and ask questions without ever feeling rushed. If you’re visiting Philadelphia (or even if you’re a local wanting to see your city in a new light), I highly recommend this tour.
