Trip involved a long van ride in traffic and road construction. We got off late because driver waited on a tardy couple and shortened trip as one party had an early on board time. Too many ships at same time and most places were packed so we just drove around and took photos from van. Return via coastal road was behind a school bus. Driver was nice.

Paul picked us up at the agreed location and was already waiting for us. Paul contacted us again the night before. Everything was great!!! Note: when you leave the terminal, walk past all the people waiting with name signs and keep slightly to the left. He will be waiting for you there. Very nice, new, and well-maintained Ford bus. Good for about 14 people. There were 10 of us on September 15, 2025. Paul explained a lot. He also has an oversized screen in his Ford bus where he played various very informative YouTube videos. Very careful driving throughout the day! Compliments. Great stops. Always drove slowly at important spots so we could take photos. Great guy. Would definitely do it again. Plenty of time in Peggy's Cove and Lunenburg. @ Paul personally: PLEASE leave Lunenburg an additional 15 minutes earlier next time. You know what I mean. ;-) You were a great guy and explained a lot. Stay just the way you are and all the best to you!! My best regards, Ralf

First, this is more like a full day tour than 1/2 day and Paul is great. Beautiful Nova Scotia south shore and loved Lunenburg. Paul provided a wonderful historic perspective and has onboard entertainment to fill the void between stops. Paul makes great recommendations for things to see and where to eat. The Salt Shaker in Lunenburg for lunch was a great place to eat…it will be busy though.

The tour was nice but I could have done without the videos that did not pertain to the places we were visiting and the narration was hard to hear. The tour guide did not narrate the tour. I would have liked to have spent more time in some places and less in others. However, I did enjoy most of the places we visited.

It was the most amazing experience. Paul was very knowledgeable about the area and was very accommodating as my mom has mobility issues and uses a walker. Absolutely fantastic we had lots of time to wander each place. it was truly an amazing experience. Thank you Paul!!

Paul our guide was very accommodating and a great driver. We had ample time at all our stops and he provided good info and some great historical info movies on the bus. He stopped so we didn’t have to sit for long lengths of time. Very kind and experienced tour guide. Even learned about shark tracking in Nova Scotia. Interesting scenic day, even dipped our feet in the Atlantic Ocean!

Both sites Peggy’s cove & Lunenburg were worth visiting and a small group tour is always better than the big cruise excursions. In hindsight, i would have booked a different tour with this company. There was too much driving involved (about 3 1/2 hours) for a 6 hour tour. This is no reflection of the company, just the particular tour we chose.

This tour was absolutely amazing, I would wholeheartedly recommend it! It was the 8 of us, which was the perfect size I felt. Paul is a really cool guy and knew a lot about the history of the area and told us many cool stories on the way. He also prepared some interesting videos and documentaries we could watch. Peggy's Cove was our first stop, the lighthouse and the little village surrounding it is incredibly cute. Paul did his best to arrive right before the tour buses, so we could see it all without the crowds. If you're into jewellery make sure to visit Amos Pewter, a gem of a little shop, with super cute handmade silver jewellery and gifts, all very reasonably priced too. Lunenburg is the cutest village I've ever seen, I instantly fell in love with it. Out of the 2 hours I spent 1.5 wandering the streets and taking photos of nearly each charming little house, then I had a quick lunch sitting by the waterfront in the sun. I cannot recommend this enough, it's an absolute must see if you're visiting Nova Scotia, but be prepared to leave a little piece of your heart behind!
