Great trip with our guide Mohammed Aljibri. His English was great and he knowledgeably guided us around the major Muscat sights. Grand Mosque was beautiful, the Opera House stunning and the forts and souk completed the trip. Would recommend.

Great half day tour of the main Muscat sights. The Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque was the highlight. Abdul Majeed was my tour guide and great. The only thing I would recommend is just spend 10 minutes at the souk and include the National Museum. I’m not interested in shopping and the museum is a wonderful history of Oman. A great architecture section with models of all major historical buildings in the country.

We were collected promptly at our hotel by Ahmed who was very bright and happy when greeting us. He made sure we were dressed appropriately for the visit to the Grand Mosque and gave a brief overview of our itinerary. We were driven in a Toyota Landcruiser all day which was a very comfortable ride as there was five of us with my Wife and four year old sitting in seats in the very back of the vehicle. Ahmed is an excellent guide and very polite and courteous towards us. He stayed over the allotted four hours to show us the opera house and was willing to stay even longer if we wished.

Saif picked us up from the hotel and gave us a very nice tour around Muscat. He was very skilled and down to earth, and managed to tell us about the things we were interested in. Thank you for the tour.

This tour is a must while in Muscat. This is my first day here and I wanted to experience Omani culture and see popular landmarks and it didn’t disappoint. My guide abdulmajeed was great! He was friendly accommodating and took me to the places that is included in the tour. He answered all my questions and he was able to tell me a few history about this beautiful country. I was told Omani people are very hospitable and my guide reflects how hospitable they are . Thanks my brother!!!

We were very well hosted by our guide Saif. He contacted us the day before via WhatsApp and confirmed an 8am pickup from our hotel in Al Mouj. Saif took us to the Grand Mosque first to beat the crowds. It was peaceful and not busy. A beautiful experience! We learned so much about its construction and Islamic culture in Oman - so interesting, and we would not have gained such insights without Saif's knowledge. Next stop, we visited the nearby Mohammed Al Ameen mosque, which was built using similar materials and has a fascinating story. After this we went to old Muscat via the corniche. We asked not to visit the souk at Muttrah as we had already been there a couple of days prior. Old Muscat is beautifully constructed in a relatively small area with mountains on 3 sides. The sea front is overlooked by 2 Portuguese built forts, one of which you can now visit. It has a coffee shop at the top. A tip from our guide was to visit in time for sunset. After a visit to the Sultan's official palace, we then went to see Qurum beach and from there to the incredible Royal Opera house. This impressive building contains the largest pipe organ in the world. Saif then returned us promptly to our hotel in time for lunch. In summary, a great tour, a fabulous host, and good value for money. Highly recommended!
