Antelope Island & Great Salt Lake: Utah's Wild Wonders

Katie Mac was an excellent guide. We travelled through Antelope park and received continuous information on the habitat and the animals of the park and surrounding area. We saw dozens of bison close up and from afar.

Our tour guide, David was great! The tour was fun, seeing the wildlife and the views were amazing! Wonderful tour, would highly recommend! Was so convenient to be picked up and dropped off right at my hotel!

What a lovely experience. I joined the afternoon tour. Although it was short but we had a great time. Thanks to John who made this trip extra special. He is so knowledgeable and took us to amazing spots. I suggest the afternoon tour starts at 3 in October instead of 4:30 so we will have more time enjoying the scenes. Again, a special thanks to our guide John.

The sites were amazing. Tour guide will make the difference. Our guide was unorganized causing unrelated subjects to be covered. In turn we felt we missed items we expected to experience.

Super enjoyable adventure, with a super solid guide (Chris). It was a beautiful day and We got to see a bunch of Bison, visited the salt lake, hiked Buffalo Point Trail and saw some pronghorn antelopes. 10/10, would recommend.

Tour guide was knowledgeable friendly and helpful . We got to see beautiful landscape and lots of animals. The drive around the park does start to feel like we're looking at the same thing over and over so it didn't have to be that long.

We toured the island. Saw the Buffalo a, an owl, and a jack rabbit. We didn’t see any antelope. A new visitor center should be open next season. The ranch and horses were interesting. Where I parked downtown cost me $36.

Our tour guide was well informed and had an excellent rapport with the travelers on the van. The tour was somewhat a disappointment. The Great Salt Lake was extremely dry in big areas. It was difficult to envision the size of the lake with so many dry areas. Our guide said the lake is usually the fullest in the Spring and that Salt Lake City has been experiencing a long drought. The Antelope Island portion of the tour was interesting but not very exciting! We did the evening tour and did see a gorgeous sunset. I must say the tour company, Southwestern Adventure Tours was very nice and accommodating. I would book another tour with them.
