Exclusive Excursions is happy be on The Great Salt Lake, which is the saltiest body of water in the Western Hemisphere. Come enjoy this experience by actually going out on the lake rather than just seeing it from the shore. We will do a short boat ride around the marina area, hear some stories, history and jokes about the lake, and even do a few demonstrations. And of course have time for a good picture or two. Since it’s only 45 minutes and the lake is so big and wide, we just stay within a mile of the marina and this tour is not a high speed boat ride because the captain likes to give commentary the whole time. Some people complain that we don’t go fast or farther out in the lake so this is why. Yes the great salt lake has bugs near the marina. They don’t bite but can swarm at times. We give you hats with nets to keep them out of your face so please take one so they don’t “bug” you. Give us a call if you want an update about the current bug situation since it always changes.

Nate did a great job in just 45 minutes educating us on the Great Salt Lake. He had been working there for 4+ years and he had a lot of anecdotes and history to share. The boat was comfortable and very clean.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The scenery is beautiful. The Visitors Center has a cute gift shop and an interesting video of the lake’s history.

Was a great experience! We also really appreciated the flexibility as we were held up with our rental car but it was no problem for them to put us on a later boat. Loved it!

We had a great time on The Great Salt Lake Boat Tour. The weather was beautiful, and our boat captain/tour guide was excellent. He was so nice and knowledgeable. He taught us a lot about the lake and always explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. The shrimp demonstration was also cool. I definitely recommend this activity if you're in the Salt Lake City area and the weather permits it.

Colton was a funny tour guide. It was a little shorter than expected. But I guess it was due to the wind and how shallow the lake has become Thanks!!!
