Truly amazing experience, wouldn’t have been able to understand what goes on in dharavi without our guide. One of the most eye opening experiences I have done in India. Would highly recommend going on a tour if you have the time and want to see the “real” Mumbai.

Rishi was the perfect tour guide for such an eye-opening and world-expanding tour. Getting to visit the slum is one thing, but to have an expert overview paired with it unlocks the total value of the tour. Would HIGHLY recommend

Not too crowded tour, with 4 people through the slum. Sabina took the time to explain everything. I would recommend to anyone who wants to visit the slum.

Wow what an incredible experience to get under the skin of the real Mumbai. If you think this is a tour of sadness and poverty, think again! This is a tour of hope, professional businesses, community, family, education and wonder. An immersive tour through the different elements of what makes up this incredible and thriving community. Leave what you think you’ll see behind and embrace everything that this place has to offer you and the lessons you’ll learn to come home with. This is the BEST tour we have done in India, you have to do this to say you’ve seen India as without it you’ve only scratched the shiny surface.

I would highly recommend this experience as it is a really amazing way to see the vibrancy, resilience, industry, and strong sense of community in Dharavi . Our guide Javed was excellent, he was very knowledgeable, well-respected, kind and funny.
