Ted is a 5 star. One of the best tours. Ted has a background in history! With humor knowledge, and his background makes him an incredible guide! Highly recommend.

Ted was absolutely AMAZING. He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and more importantly knew how to tell a joke haha! I also appreciated how personable he was as well to the participants who lived locally. He asked the us where we’re from and kept referencing little stories about where we live nearby (we found out one couple lives near the 1st and 3rd largest burial sites in Philly lol). It made the experience much more enjoyable and intimate. He definitely is a great raconteur!

The company is awesome and easy to deal with. Our guide Brianna was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, professional, outgoing and made the 2 hour tour feel like it was minutes. I’m shocked at how much of the info given on the tour by Brianna my wife and I were not aware of. It truly was a great tour and glad we had Brianna. She is definitely an asset and the person you want to show you and teach you history. Thank you Brianna, keep up the awesome job.

Very entertaining experience, starting with history and eventually getting into the dark history of Philadelphia. Christa was very knowledgeable and kept our attention with jokes and storytelling. Great to learn more about the buildings in Old City.

So much fun and SO interesting. Our guide, Brianna, was awesome — informative, funny, kind, and she has a great taste in sweaters. I used to be a tour guide in Philly (carriage driver) so I know what a good tour guide is. Lots of interesting historical facts along with good ghost stories. Sorry to see that City Tavern never reopened.
