1. Haji Ali Dargah is a famous mosque and tomb located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It is situated on an islet off the coast of Worli in the southern part of the city. The dargah (mausoleum) was built in 1431 under the supervision of a wealthy Muslim merchant named Haji Ali Shah Bukhari. It is dedicated to the memory of the Muslim saint, Sayed Peer Haji Ali Shah Bukhari.
The dargah is known for its unique location, as it is surrounded by the Arabian Sea. It is accessible only during low tide through a narrow pathway which connects the dargah to the mainland. During high tide, the pathway is submerged, giving the dargah a floating appearance.
The architectural style of the dargah is Indo-Islamic, with a white-domed structure built on a raised platform. The interior of the dargah is richly decorated with intricate carvings, mirrors, and marble pillars. The main tomb contains the grave of Haji Ali Shah Bukhari, covered with a brocaded red and green chaddar (cloth).
2. The Haji Ali Dargah is open every day from 5:30 AM to 10:00 PM. There is no entry fee to visit the dargah. However, visitors can make donations or offer chadars (cloths) at the tomb.
