I was able to book a last minute Prado + Botin tour and our guide Montse made it such a memorable day. I had been to the Prado before, but she gave us so much insight and background that was missed on my first visit. Then we walked to Botin, pushed past the large crowd waiting outside and were the first people inside, where we got a private tour of the kitchen, wine cellar and all of the many dining rooms. Lunch was incredible and our group had so much fun.

Excellent tour but too fast! So much to see in the Museum! Farin was a great guide and very knowledgeable about key pieces. The restaurant was also amazing!

We had a most wonderful experience with Cassie our warm hearted and happy guide! She kept us interested with fun and also serious facts about Madrid royalty and artwork through the centuries. We had lively conversations in Botin and it was an outstanding lunch all together! Thank you so much Cassie and also Maria from Seville. We truly had a memorable time!

Out guide Montse was entertaining, knowledgeable, friendly, we can’t say enough about her. We had a number of guides in our 10 days in Spain. Montse was clearly the best.

Our tour with Alfonso at the Prado Museum and lunch at Botín was the highlight of our trip! He helped us appreciate the artworks by showing how to interpret and view them properly, truly food for the soul. On our way to Botín, he pointed out historic buildings we would’ve missed on our own. Lunch at the world’s oldest restaurant was unforgettable, with a private tour before it opened and a peek at its 300-year-old wine cellar. Alfonso made every detail special, truly a tour to remember!

Excellent experience! Montse expertly guided us through famous and lesser-known works in the Prado Museum, illustrating the development of Spanish art, placing it in context with Spanish political history of the past 500 years. From Hieronymus Bosch through El Greco, Velasquez, and Goya, we were treated to detailed information about the relationships between the artist and his (and her!) royal patrons. Following our Prado visit, we had a relaxing lunch and great conversation at the world’s oldest restaurant, Botin. The artichokes and roast suckling pig were delicious!

This is a very unique tour. A visit to the Prado Museum followed by lunch at Botin, the oldest restaurant in the world. Reservations to this restaurant have to be made months in advance. This tour by-passes that problem. Plus you get a short tour of the restaurant before it opens. The suckling pig was delicious. Our guide for the day, Alfonso, was one of the best guides we have ever had. This tour is qorth the money in my opinion.
