Camelback Phoenix: Breathtaking Guided Mountain Ascent

Perfect timing for sunrise, Curtis took great care to ensure I had a great hike with plenty of water and snacks. Great conversation.

Curtis was an awesome guide. He made the hike very fun and memorable, and I enjoyed listening to his past hiking stories! We were able to get up in an hour and down in an hour fifteen, including breaks. If you have hiked before, even moderately, this hike should be no problem. The views were gorgeous, and I would absolutely do it again!

This hike was very challenging, yet thrilling! Curtis was a very energetic, funny and overall cool guide. Getting to the top felt satisfying and exhilarating. The weather was perfect; not too hot and had a nice breeze with some sun. Definitely book the trip! It was worth it in every way.

Curtis was a phenomenal guide very knowledgeable of camelback mountain and of hiking in general. Curtis was very professional and concerned for the hikers well being and experience of the hike. He is also a great people person telling stories and providing information of the area we hiked in. It was hiking with a good friend I strongly recommend hiking with Curtis if you get a chance.

We had such an awesome experience hiking Camelback Mountain with our guide, Mike! From the get-go, he was super responsive and helpful with all the details, which made everything really easy and stress-free. I was hiking with my 12-year-old daughter, and Mike did a great job making sure we both felt safe and comfortable the whole time. He brought all the essentials too in case we forgot anything — water, snacks, backpacks, etc… — so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. He even took amazing photos of us during the hike, which we’ll definitely treasure! Mike really knew his stuff and made the whole experience fun and memorable. It is not an easy hike, but definitely do-able! If you’re thinking about hiking Camelback and want someone reliable and friendly to guide you, I’d 100% recommend this company and especially Mike!!!

For my first time hiking, I was expecting a semi - challenging trail hike. I was in for a surprise when it was an inclined hike up boulders up to the top ! It was an amazing experience and I still cannot believe I accomplished it! My guide, Curtis was a great help and was always checking in on me and making sure I was still good to continue while offering water, snacks and a cooling towel. He offered a lot of interesting insights to the surrounding areas, as well as personal experiences which made me feel at ease that I was with an expert. Without him I’m sure I wouldn’t survive and maybe even eaten dirt. The view was amazing and was totally worth the hard work ! Would definitely recommend using a guide if it’s your first time as well.

Mike, our guide was amazing and patient with us, gave us lots of history about Phoenix and surrounding areas. He was very knowledgeable and showed us great pic spots and took many photos for us.
