Big Island Grand Tour: Volcanoes, Waterfalls & History

Our guide Aaron was awesome! His knowledge about the island and its history was amazing! When we booked our tour, we had no idea that we would be touring the whole island in a day! It was well worth the time!

This tour was amazing. It took us all the way around the island and hit a lot of what we wanted to see. Our guide Kevin was so kind, helpful and passionate about what he does. He did a fantastic job teaching us all about the area and Hawaiian culture. Highly recommend!

The Circle Island Tour was truly one of the most beautiful experiences of my life — something I will never forget. The tour was incredibly well organized, and it’s clear that this company is extremely professional. That professionalism shone through our amazing tour guide, Kona Chris. We will never forget him! He made the entire day so special with his humor, knowledge, and genuine care for everyone on the tour. He kept the same amazing energy for the full 12 hours — never stopping to share stories, history, and fun facts. That kind of dedication and passion is rare, and the company is very lucky to have someone like him representing them. Every stop along the way was the crème de la crème of what you should see on the island — absolutely breathtaking and perfectly chosen. We were also never tired or hungry, thanks to the thoughtful supply of snacks throughout the day (on top of a delicious main meal!). This experience is a must-do and truly worth every minute. If you’re planning to explore the island, don’t miss this tour — especially with this company and Kona Chris as your guide!

Kona Chris was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and told great stories. His ‘Dad’ jokes kept us chuckling. Accommodations were comfortable. Lunch and snacks were very good and he even surprised us with wonderful Malasadas. Would highly recommend and request Kona Chris.

Brett was an exceptional tour guide. He was knowledgeable, personable and made sure all the guests were well taken care of. The stops have been well selected by this company and definitely items you want to see while on the island. Food was ok. All in all, wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend.

Our Tour guide Brett was very informative, entertaining and funny. Made the day very interesting. Stops were just long enough to take pictures and enjoy the views. Lunch was very good. The waterfalls were awesome. Highly recommend this tour of the Big Island!!!

Wish it would have included some of the north/ west beaches. Would have been nice to include a little map so that we could follow along and take notes and know where we have been and are going to next

We joined a one-day tour of the Big Island and it was an amazing experience. The schedule was very well thought out – we were able to see all the major sights of the island in one day without feeling rushed. Our guide, Mieshia, was incredibly nice and managed the time perfectly. He shared Hawaii’s history in such a lively and engaging way that it really brought the island to life for us. The highlight was definitely Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park – such a unique and unforgettable place to visit. The tour bus was very comfortable, and they provided good food and plenty of water. For first-time visitors to the Big Island, I would highly recommend this tour!

This was the best and most informative way to learn about the Big Island. Stefan was our driver/guide and he did a great job in keeping our group interested, informed and energized to be able to go the distance. He is a pro at what he does and it takes a special type of people person to captivate a diverse group for an entire day. We had only one full day on the Big Island during our Hawai’i vacation. We decided to take this tour so we could hit the highlights and plan for any future trips when we might have more time. We had a great tour. It was perfect for a day and we appreciated that we didn’t have to drive, figure out where to go or worry about paying entry fees or parking fees. Kevin was a fantastic guide and host. They served a nice hot lunch, plenty of snacks, and water & juice. Kevin knew all about the island and entertained us with stories and legends during the longer driving portions of the drive around the island. I would definitely recommend this tour to others and would even repeat it again. The price was extremely fair and the service went above and beyond.
