For starters, I do want to say that there is a lot of walking. With that being said, there were plenty of stops to catch your breath and the guide kept a very easy pace. The tour itself was really good. So much history and so may really cool places to see. But that wasn’t what made the tour great…it was Josh, our tour guide. He wasn’t necessarily witty or funny, but his knowledge of the rich history was unparalleled. He really did a nice job of keeping us engaged and even delivered some angles I hadn’t ever really thought about. That is much more important and interesting than pure humor. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in really learning about Boston’s history.

We were only in Boston for a short while at the end of our holiday so this was a great way of getting to see all the main historical sights. Sara J was our guide, she was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic with very clear explanations making the tour super enjoyable and we learnt lots. Thank you Sara. Would highly recommend.

Kaitlin was very knowledgeable and eager to answer questions. She made the tour so enjoyable. Highly recommend wearing good walking shoes because some of the surfaces are cobblestone and/or uneven with some slight hills.

Guide was knowledgeable and willing to answer any question we had. However the tour was extremely slow and drawn out.

Maura was an excellent tour guide! She knew the history beyond the textbook. She was very accommodating and told us much more than we would’ve expected to learn on this excursion.

We loved the academic version of this tour. No drama or anything fancy, just well informed and knowledgeable guide. We enjoyed her tour.

If this is your first trip to Boston, a walking tour is the way to go if you are interested in the history of the town. We were late arriving to meet our group and after contacting the tour company, they were very helpful in locating our tour guide so we could catch up. Our tour guide, Toby, was very knowledgeable about the city and answered all our questions. His enthusiasm showed his love of history. It was a lot of walking, but well worth it.

If you love history then this tour is perfect for you. Description of tour is spot on. Amelia is so knowledgeable and loves her job. We are on girl trip and no one was disappointed. You get a 10 min potty break halfway through tour. Ending in Little Italy. Ask your guide for recommendations on where to eat.
