Cinque Terre Dream: Florence Day Trip & Breathtaking Trails

We did the Cinque Terre tour with Walkabout today and honestly couldn’t have asked for better guides than Atto and Alessandro (Alex). It poured rain and was cold most of the day, but they kept the energy up, shared heaps of knowledge, and made the whole thing feel fun and effortless. Both were super genuine, the kind of guides who actually enjoy what they do. Every time we had a question, they were keen to chat, explain more, and make sure everyone was having a good time. They really turned what could’ve been a miserable wet day into a great experience for me and my wife. If you’re thinking about booking this tour, do it and if you’re lucky enough to get Atto and Alex, you’re in for an awesome day.

It was great. Gabriel and John Luca were the perfect tour guides. They kept everyone together and treated everyone with respect and kindness. We all felt very secure with their guidance. They also gave us very interesting information about each of the villages in Cinque Terre and also made the trip a lot of fun. I would highly recommend both of these tour guides as well as the trip.

Cinque Terre tour was fabulous! Gabriel and Luca were very knowledgeable and very approachable. We spent more time with Gabriel as we were in his group. Gabriel is very smart and personable. He shared the history of the villages in such a way that one could imagine being there as he spoke. I recommend this tour. I highly recommend spending time with Gabriel to learn about the history. Gabriel and Luca made our day perfect. They were both both very knowledgeable and comedic at the same time. Highly recommend doing the hike which allows you to views of the Mediterranean you would otherwise not have. Thank you so much for a bucket list excursion!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Cinque Terre. What a beautiful and charming part of Italy! Our awesome team of tour guides Gianluca and Gabriel and our driver Labi made all the difference.. They were enthusiastic throughout the day, checking to ensure our needs were met. They were well organized and efficient in guiding our group and provided sufficient free time at each of the 5 towns. My family and I did the hike and I’m so glad I opted to join them. It was an intermediate hike so I was a little nervous about it and in the end well worth the stunning views and frankly, the exercise given all the eating we’ve been doing since arriving in Italy. I do recommend that folks know their own physical limits so the guides can give you alternatives if you want to skip the hike. It was a worthwhile experience during our time in Florence and highly recommend this tour. Gracie mille, Gianluca, Gabriel and Labi!

Gianluca and Gabriel were honestly the best tour guides that we have had in Italy. They are very knowledgeable, funny, upbeat, and just wonderful. I highly recommend this tour with them. They'll tell you all the good places to eat and best wines in Cinque Terre. Thanks guys for a great experience.

We had a beautiful day at CinqueTerre. Weather was marvelous with Joanne and Chris as our tour guides. They explained everything about the transportation to all 5 cities and pointed out special tips for each city.

A very long day (7 am - 9 pm) but well worth it! Manny and Girardo led us to the beautiful Cinque Terre. Both were very personable and made the day so very memorable.We got to the Cinque Terre via a very comfortable double decker coach bus. From there we took the train from town to town with Manny, but those who wanted to hike went with Girardo. The towns and scenery were as lovely as you’d expect. Stopped for lunch atop a small hill with a beautiful view. We had skipped the first town and began our day in the second in order to avoid the big crowds. Because we did it this way, we took a scenic boat ride back to the first town to end our day. As we waited for the train to take us back to our bus, the sun was setting over the water. It was perfect! The trip was very well organized and everyone seemed to have a great time. Be prepared for lots of walking and climbing literally hundreds of stairs…..even if you’re not in the “hiking” group! I think we logged close to 20,000 steps that day!

Christian and Jojo could not have been better. Fun, attentive, informative and highly communicative. THE BEST!!!
