Unforgettable Cinque Terre & Pisa VIP Tour from Florence

This trip was an amazing experience. The views were gorgeous and a highlight to our trip. We also met amazing people and had a great time.

Sara picked us up at our accommodations bright and early. She was on time even with the very rainy weather. During the two hour drive from Florence to Cinque Terre, she told us stories, educated our group of seven on her country, and pointed out sights along the way. There was the perfect balance of conversation among ourselves, and conversations with Sara. The weather was terrible on the roads. Torrential downpours at various times. Sara was calm and in control at all times, and made us feel very safe on the road. Once we got to Cinque Terre, the sun came out, just as Sara had predicted:) We visited three of the five villages: Riomaggiore, Manarola and Vernazza. At each stop, Sara explained a brief overview of the community and set our group free for an hour or two, depending on which village we were in. She was always so kind and personable. I honestly feel like we made a friend for life. We opted to pay $17 Euro to walk Via dell’ Amore from Riomaggiore to Manorola, opposed to taking the train. The newly developed walkway was stunning and a flat and easy 15-20 minute walk, depending on your pace. Each village was more beautiful than the previous one. Sara assisted us with the train from Manarola to Vernazza. She guided us thru the crowds to a comfortable train car where we all sat together. We spent the longest time in Vernazza. Our group dined and shopped and took loads of photos. Sara chose a meeting spot for us, and always waited patiently for our whole group to arrive. We headed back to Manarola by train and then drove to Pisa. As soon as we crossed the mountains from Cinque Terre, the rain started again. We couldn’t have asked for better weather during our visit to Cinque Terre. It was raining when we arrived to Pisa, but Sara knew an entrance on the back side of the tower that would require a shorter walk to reach the tower for photo opts. It was perfect! Sara picked us up at 6:50am, and dropped us off at 6:30pm. It was a very long day with a personable, sweet, kind, intelligent, informative, knowledgeable guide! Do yourself a favor and book a tour with this company. I’m not sure if you can make request for a specific guide, but Sara will definitely make the whole experience the trip of a lifetime! She was such a delight! Thank you Sara!! We had the most amazingly memorable day!

Sara went above and beyond to ensure a perfectly curated trip for myself and 6 friends. She was so great to learn from and we especially appreciated her connection to the weather gods! Cinque Terre & Pisa was the most unforgettable experience and well-worth the adventure!

Sara was the perfect addition to our group of 7 girlfriends. She was timely, knowledgeable, flexible, and entertaining! The rain was pouring on the drives to and from Florence and Cinque Terre but Sara got us there on time and safe - all the while telling us that the weather on the other side of the mountain would be just what we were craving, and she was right! It was a glorious day thanks to Sara leading our way!

When you sign up for tours you know where you're going, what you're doing, but the experience is to be determined. So, back to Alberto. He was gracious, energetic, knowledgeable and just a pleasure to be around. I say this because our group was with him for a full day. We were picked up by him in a super comfortable van. He drove us to our first part of the tour Cinque Terre. Along the way he pointed out so many interesting sights and had endless stories that made our day seem to fly by. We stopped for lunch and went off to the next part of our tour, Pisa. There he treated us to a quick glass of wine to which we toasted to a beautiful day! He kept it very professional and waited for us while we tried our best to be creative with our 'leaning' pictures and did some quick souvenir shopping. He was a joy and had such a positive attitude all day! We all agreed he provided the best tour we had in the 2 weeks we were in Italy. Hopefully we will go back and be lucky enough to see Alberto again!

We were in a small group to visit Cinque Terre. Gabrielle was a fantastic guide and was very flexible with customizing the trip. If everyone in the group did not wish to travel the same way he provided options so everyone got the experience they wanted. We walked the Love Path and it was fantastic. It was an extra cost, but worth it.
