What a wonderful experience! They contacted us to see if we wanted to move our date out one day, so they could combine our ride with another couple. It was actually an upgrade for us, so we found a great AirBnB in town and stayed an extra day. The helicopter ride was amazing!

Flew into Doubtful from Te Anau - Absolutely breathtaking. From the moment we lifted off, the views of the untouched wilderness deep into the South Island's south. Gav (pilot) was not only highly skilled but also an expert on the region, sharing insights about the history, geography, and wildlife of Fiordland. A must to do when down there.

The Doubtful Sound helicopter tour was the highlight of our one-month long, first time, tour of both the North and South islands. It was far more diversified, impressive and enjoyable than the Milford Sound cruise we did the day before. The fjords that comprise Doubtful Sound are far more in number and varied, and peaceful. The vistas provided by helicopter, and the sense of things, were spectacular. The geographic, flora and fauna comments provided by the kind pilot were very helpful. The one-time landing on a high ridge left us with much more of a tactile sense of things than would have otherwise been the case. Bonuses were sightings of a rare bird and a family of reindeer-like animals.

We needed to change the trip that we had booked and the girls in the office made this very easy to do - they kept us informed of any changes due to weather - they were also dealing with an emergency rescue when our flight was due- very professional and calm Ben our pilot was excellent- extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to ensure our trip was the success it was Thanks so much - would highly recommend

Everyone who I spoke to employed here went above and beyond my expectations. Stacey (hope that's right) at the front desk, in particular was on the phone personally multiple times to get a trip organised for me on my final day in Te Anau. Mike our pilot also made sure we all (including a young kid who he showed around the helicopter) were extremely satisfied, but most of all safe considering the very overcast flight. Would recommend to anyone. P.s. Apologies for the phone photos!

Great service, very friendly, relaxed, felt very comfortable. Commentary was much appreciated. Ensured we enjoyed our trip and had a great experience working with the weather conditions of the day. Scenery was amazing - a rare opportunity to see just a beautiful part of the country!!

We chose Te Anau Heli services over the other Heli Services because their price seemed good value for money compared to some others. We have no regrets using this company, the staff in the office were very friendly and reassuring for us "first timers" and our pilot Paul was great, flying us safely over Doubtful Sound and giving us info along the way and also make a waterfall and alpine landing for us, it was an unforgettable experience and we are so glad we did it. Doubtful Sound is an unbelievably beautiful place. Thank you!!!
