Ultimate Zakopane: Breathtaking Tatras & Thermal Spa Oasis

Great communication right from booking, we had several questions to which we got very quick text responses. Messages the day before giving details of exact picks up points which were on time and small mini bus so you weren't always waiting for a full coach of people. Kaja our operator guide was excellent so much useful advice and made sure everyone was well informed of times etc. Day was well organized and time allowed at each place was about right. Great way to see another part of Poland.

My daughter and I had an amazing day out on this trip. Everything was really well organised and the communication was great. Mirek, our guide, was fantastic, and so helpful. It was good to stop in Chocołów and see the traditional houses there. The stop for traditional cheese and vodka was very welcome too. My favourite part of the day was the ride on the funicular railway in Zakopane to take in the wonderful views of the Tatra Mountains. We didn’t get a full view of all the mountains, as there was a blanket of cloud, but the views were still superb. We took advantage of the restaurant recommendations from Mirek, and ate at ‘Karkzma Zapiecek’ where we sampled some tasty Polish cuisine. After our free time in Zakopane we headed to the ‘Goracy Potok’ thermal baths (the Chocołówskie ones were closed for maintenance) where we had a relaxing time in the different pools (didn’t stay too long in the 26 degree one though - the 36 degree one was more to our liking 😁. After a couple of hours we headed back to Kraków, tired but happy 😊. We also used ‘Thousand Miles’ for a trip to Bochnia salt mine the previous day, and would 100% recommend them 🤩

We had a great day out to Zakopane visiting a traditional village and also stopping for cheese and vodka tasting. We were a bit disappointed with the weather which stopped us seeing views of the mountains but the day ended well with a visit to the thermal baths they were great. Thanks to Szczepan who kept us entertained and was very knowledgable

Fantastic experience from start to finish,Simon had us laughing the whole time.A few stops along the way to break up the journey. Cheese and vodka tasting always welcome ,the view across tatra mountains were great and the thermal baths were amazing 👏

Wow! From the exceptional communication prior to our departure to the trip itself, I was so impressed with this outing! Our guide Stephan and our driver were entertaining and knowledgeable. The stories shared about growing up in the area really gave a unique perspective about Poland and its resilient people. I highly recommend!

The communication before the trip was excellent and ensured that the day ran smoothly. We were picked up from our apartment and taken to the bus where we met our guide Simon. Simon was great and provided regular updates thought the trip- he was very knowledgeable about the areas we visited and provided us with some recommendations for restaurants in both Zakopane and Krakow. The cheese and vodka stop was a highlight for us and Zakopane itself is beautiful. Due to maintenance work at Chocholiwskie Termy we went to Goracy Potok instead, which was communicated to us before the trip, and we had the best time there! The facility was clean and a welcome break from a busy few days in Krakow. We highly recommend booking this trip and thank Simon for providing an excellent day!

Niko was a great tour guide on our visit to Zakopane. He was nice, knowledgeable and gave great suggestions along the way. It’s a charming town and worth the visit.
