Giza Pyramids, Sphinx & Saqqara: Private Ancient Egypt Tour

I had a fantastic tour of the Pyramids, Sphinx and more thanks to my personable and knowledgeable guide Omar. He was very knowledgeable, warm and friendly and went the extra mile to make sure that I got to see and learn about what I came here to see. Our driver Ahmed was excellent as well!!

It was excellent tour, the guide was pleasant, very knowledgeable, it was exceptional!! The food was delicious!!

Tour was okay, not amazing. They make you stop at a carpet making school where they try to sell you things. Additionally, we were running a little behind schedule, and they made us stop at a perfume shop to sit through a sales pitch and then proceeded to charge us $10 for going over the tour time limit. Our tour guide was okay, but more of a chaperone than a tour guide.

Usam and our driver were awesome to spend the day touring some of these amazing sites. I like the fact that we started in Memphis and Saqqara which avoided some of the crowds. Usam was engaging, helped us with goo picture sites and even how to avoid some of the scams with come vendors. We had a lunch of Kaosharo which was INCREDIBLE! We finished off the day at the Giza complex. It was a great tour for the value. The only items that were not on the original itenerary was a stop at an essential oil “museum” shop and a papyrus “museum” which was kind of not what we had planned. The oil shop was a sales job and while the products were nice (we actually bought a small bottle) it was a bit high pressure and we didn’t really want to shop like this. We simply asked to skip the papyrus shop because we figured it would be the same, so I would simply ask to skip those parts if you did not want to shop. Overall, we loved our day with Usam ! thank you!

Amazing sites. All worth it. Driver and guide were excellent. Followed the schedule we asked for w/o forcing us to do the "optional" scam tours like factories, workshops or camel rides (although they were offered). Has a nice shawarma for lunch too.

We were hosted by our guide Salma and driver Mustafa from FTS Travel. The morning was spent at the NMEC, followed by lunch, and then The Pyramids afterwards. Salma's knowledge throughout the day was exceptional, and our long planned trip was thoroughly worthwhile. Mustafa's ability to cope with the somewhat chaotic traffic was also much appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone planning to experience this wonderful excursion.

We had an excellent guide knowledgeable and enthusiastic about what he was explaining. He also arranged the visits to the three sites in the right order. each was better than the last.

We had an excellent guide who spoke good English and was very interactive and engaging! Helped us take lots of cool photos and have a great time. Pick up and drop off was smooth and the air conditioned vehicle was useful since you are tired and hot after walking. Recommend this tour.

So glad we decided to visit Memphis and Saqqara I found it fascinating, I could have done a day just there. The guild was lovely and checking in that we understood him all the time as he worried about his English but he was fine. The pyramids where obviously something to behold and our guild took us to great spots to get some good views with less people
