Unforgettable Cairo: Pyramids, Camel & Museum Day Tour

Excellent trip , very knowledgeable tour guide. A couple of unscheduled stops not required. Enjoyed the history lesson.

Coming off a Holland America cruise ship in Alexandria, 4 of us booked a full day Pyramids tour thru SunPyramid Tours. Our agent Anwa, was extremely helpful, finding out what we wanted to do, making suggestions and setting up all the details, even sending a photo of the van we would travel in. This was important as the trip from Alexandria was over 2,5 hours and the temperature was 95F. Our driver, Abdul, was very good at driving but spoke very little English, communicating somewhat through his smart phone translator. This was sufficient for our purposes. As we approached Giza Plaza, we picked up our guide, Tawfik "Tut", who was excellent. We were allowed to set the pace, stay as long as we wanted (within reason) at all stops. Tut provided wonderful history and color throughout, even leading us through the Grand Musuem. Lunch was very good, traditional Egyptian fare in a very nice and comfortable restaurant overlooking the Pyramids. Total time 12 hours. Did not realize that the private tour companies were not allowed inside the port gates, so we had to walk about 1/4 mile to meet the tour bus and to return to the ship. Cost was extremely reasonable and all 4 of us highly recommend this company.

The perfect agency to take. Better than the rest, you can make adjustments even when you are already with them. I would recommend. Also our driver and guide was the best we ever had in any country..

Emo tours was excellent in every step of the way, right from airport pickup to drop-off at airport they were seemless. Here is what we covered in Cairo trip? 1)Full day tour of Giza pyramids and museums: Our Guide name was Rawan and driver was Salah. Both of them are friendly and accommodating. Tour Guide Rawan was very active and friendly. She was very passionate about her work. Patiently explained us about the history of pyramids and museums. She was a very good photographer too. We got some beautiful pictures. 2)At night we did Nile River Cruise: Again same Driver: Salah. Very friendly and knowledgeable driver. He knows lot of history. Our tour guide here was Baher, a very friendly guy. He was there with us during the entire cruise time and helped us explaining history of Nile. The entire cruise time was around 3hrs. It is included with belly dancing performances, Egyptian cultural performances and tasty food.

This was the most amazing tour! I would highly recommend this tour for anyone. We had an amazing guide, Sayed Mahmoud who really explained everything so well and made sure we were happy and comfortable throughout the day. I also cannot forget our driver, Abdulla who was so funny and fun! Really safe on the roads, made sure the AC was always on when we hopped in and played great music for our ride! Both were very kind and attentive to our needs making sure we had water, that we were feed and that we truly enjoyed our time. We truly did not know what to expect but this tour exceeded our expectations. This is a must do!

This agency is the best I have booked a trip with. Service is top notch. They crafted a private tour throughout Egypt just like I wanted. They’re punctual and very well organized. Definitely 5 Stars. The one thing I would improve is that during the tour of the Pyramids and the museum the visit of the Pyramids was rushed as they wanted to take me to the papyrus, oil and tea stores to buy stuff I didn’t want. Other than that awesome!

I am Egyptian so I know my country and history pretty well. I still wanted to give my European wife and kids a guided experience with a professional to give them a glimpse of my countries history. I chose Emo Tours based on the reviews but was bitterly disappointed. You can actually just pay the tickets to the Pyramids and the museum and have a better experience by yourself. Their guide was not knowledgeable enough and his English language was not on the required level. I honestly felt robbed to pay that much for nothing at all. They obviously do not care about repeat business and they don't care if you move to book with other agencies because they have enough business. That is always the dangerous when a company gets successful quickly and stops caring about cultivating loyalty and repeat business. Will not book with them again!
