Very enjoyable and learned a lot. Guide was excellent. Convenient facilities and concessions were on the boat. Easy to find the dock. Plenty of dining nearby.

The tour was great. Cold but good. The tour guide was great and funny! We enjoyed all her tips and information. she did a great job.

Our docent, Mary Jo had the perfect balance of information and enthusiasm to make the 90 minute tour feel much shorter. Weaving the history of the architecture in with the history of Chicago's Rivers while the buildings sparkled in the morning sun provided the perfect overview.

Second time in six months I’ve done the Chicago River architectural tour and this was fabulous. Our guide was fantastic. I really do think it made a difference that she was a volunteer docent from the Chicago Architecture Center. Info was just a little more in depth and interesting. Made me appreciate the various types of buildings along the river built in the last century.

A fantastic introduction to Chicago. Our docent/tour guide Betsy was the best—a brilliant speaker, amazingly knowledgeable, energetic, warm and engaging. Captain Diamond and the crew—awesome. So glad I went!

Interesting subject well-presented by a knowledgeable host. Comfortable boat (although a bit chilly in the wind). Trip just long enough to cover everything without being boring. Lovely scenery.

Very informative.. nice smooth ride. Great drink options. As it was October, and a bit cool, it was nice to have the option to ride inside which we did towards the end. The only downside was the PA system was Extremely loud, and not pleasant.

What an incredible way to experience such a cool city. Tours can’t usually take you through the core of their city center on boat because few cities have a waterway like the Chicago River cutting right through their downtown. Sitting on a leisurely tour boat, with a drink in hand from their bar downstairs, getting rich and colorful commentary from a volunteer (shoutout Betsy, you’re the best!) who loves their city so much they spend their weekends giving guided tours to visitors was an experience you simply have to try for yourself. 10/10 would recommend. And if I’m ever in Chicago with friends/family again you better believe I’m signing up for round two! Dress warm! Have fun, cheers!

Really interesting, very enthusiastic and informative guide, we were given a great tour and detailed information about so many of the incredible buildings in the city.
