Amazing tours. They are very thorough and knowledgeable, the guides. They really explain the city in detail and you know the history. I was amazed at all the details they knew of Arlington and Georgetown.

Took the Viator/Unscripted walking tour of Arlington. Guide was excellent, very well informed. Fortunately I dressed in layers, on top of the hills it was windy and cold. Took the 9:00 tour and beat the crowds. The tour description mentioned hills. Expect a workout as some of the hills were significant, stops were brief and tour lasted 2-1/2 hours.

This was an awe-inspiring experience. My guide, Christina, was absolutely superb. I was over from the UK, and had come to Arlington almost exclusively to see the grave of John F. Kennedy. My experience proved to be far, far greater than what in itself would have been special. During the practically perfect tour, I began to realise that I was learning about the history of America through the lens of Arlington National Cemetery, which I found thrilling and inspirational. The pace was just right, and Christina’s detailed, expert knowledge was communicated effectively, with a pleasant manner. So many wonderful human stories lie here, and live on. I would highly recommend this tour, and plan on returning here again and again. A European friend asked me what my best experience was on my trip to DC and here. Amongst many great experiences, I chose my time in Arlington.

Our tour guide, Meg, was amazing. She was energetic, fun, and extremely knowledgeable or all things DC. She even knew a lot about Astronaut history as well. She handled our precious 9-year old like a champ and made the experience fun for her too. I’d HIGHLY recommend this tour, and Meg as a guide!

This was a great tour! We had a small group, so it was easy to keep up while walking and listen to our guide’s overview of historical events, details about various sculptures/engravings, and personal anecdotes.

Christina did a great job. She paced the tour well, and saw that there were a ton of school kids that day and got us to the changing of the guard in time to see everything front row. She was knowledgeable and made the trip fun. Highly recommend her.
