Epic Hue-Hoi An: Hai Van Pass Private Coastal Journey

Amazing sightseeing tour with Mr Trung from Hue to Hoi An. 5-star service, knowledgeable and courteous. Excellent communicator. Went above and beyond expectations. Was well prepared for rain or shine. Most pleasant trip experience I had in Vietnam. I honest recommend Mr Trung and his services. Amazing value. We saw most attractions that we wanted to see in Da-Nang while transferring from Hue. Got to add a day in Hoi An because of this. Absolutely recommend!

Our driver Sam went to every possible way to make this memorable, and it was. We loved the whole trip. Good level of conversation and stops to see things that we would have missed on our own.

Excellent experience, passing through all nice sites to view from Hue to Hoi An, our driver Ron was a very helpful and polite guide, telling us even more tips & tricks about Vietnamese life. It was a very long trip (more than 8 hours), arriving late at destination (due to our requests to stop and getting very late at Marble Mountains) but very very very happy! We had a great trip with mr Khanh from Thinh cars. He drove us from Hue to Hoi An with intermediate stops for sightseeing at Lap An Lagos, the Hai Van pass and after a lunch we visited Marble mountain. He learned us quite some things about Vietnam and Vietnamese words too! It was a wonderfull trip!

Very interesting drive from Hoi An to Hue with Sam our driver. Told us all about the sites we visited and also about Vietnam in general. Highly recommended, you will learn a lot.

Great transport from Hue to Hoi An in a/c luxury. Trung was a great driver, very friendly and amazingly knowledgeable about Vietnam history and culture. All our stops were beautiful , the Lagoon, views of De Nang on the Mountain Road and Marble Mountain were spectacular. Highly recommended.

We were met at 9am and things started well although our driver was quite slow. We were underwhelmed by our first stop which was meant to be Lang Co beach. Having researched it subsequently it seems we were taken to a stop at Lap An bay. It had a scruffy working beach used by the local fishermen. This would have been fine if there had been some activity but we were told they work overnight so we only stopped for around 15 minutes. Unfortunately then the Hai Van pass was closed due to an accident so we ended up taking the tunnel, missing the key element of the journey. We asked the driver if we could do something else instead like see the dragon bridge in Da Nang but he said we were option C so couldn't. The stops at Monkey Mountain (45 minutes) and Marble mountain (1hr 15mins) were enjoyable but we had a journey of over 7hrs with only 2hrs 15 out of the car. It was slow and unimpressive.

Very good careful driver who was very mindful of our needs on what was a very hot sunny day.. In addition to the tour advertised stops he also paused authenticator VC war cemetery before going over the Hai Van Pass.
