Somme 1916: Conecta con el Pasado, Siente la Memoria.

Definitely worth visiting to learn more about the WW1 battles. We were doing a tour of the battlefields and memorials and found this a good introduction. There were English translations. The only issue we had was the section at the end with flashing lights and gunfire sounds. Epilepsy trigger for my family member. There is a warning but to avoid it you need to retrace completely and go back out the entrance. There should be a way to turn this off so people can go out through the exit. There are staff just on the other side so they could have a way to do this.

We had an interesting time at the museum. It does a good job of putting the battle of Somme in context of WW1, telling the story of the battle and show a lot of artifacts from both sides. Being avid players of WW1 Battlefront it was interesting to see lots of the weapons. Still the exhibition did also tell about all the terror of the war and the many casualties.

This was a really good museum, well worth a visit but if a bit claustrophobic maybe not for you. Also part of the experience included flashing lights and loud noises to simulate war conditions

Albert museum Was a very pleasant experience however there are slightly bad parts to it for some people. If you are claustrophobic , epileptic or have a fear of manikins then it is not a good place for you to go. Since I am slightly claustrophobic and have a fear of manikins it was a bit scary. Otherwise, it was a really good experience with lots of historical items. I wood definitely recommend going.

Many historical items to enjoy Particularly liked the display of medals. Ticked all the boxes with the variety of objects

My daughter is interested in WW1 so decided to visit the museum. Great value for money, Very educational and great experience Well worth a visit

Very well organised and interesting museum set in a long underground air raid shelter. Good exhibitions and I liked the accompanying app too. Well worth the admission fee.

Very informative and visual. Good arrange of displays and artefacts. Would definitely recommend a visit when visiting the area.

Fantastic place, really friendly and welcoming staff. Let us park our motorbikes right outside the door. I'm always wary of saying I"enjoyed" a museum about such a dark time in history but it is a fantastic place to visit. Lots to see and lots to make you think. Its also a beautiful town.
