Ruta Bici Guiada TOP: Vistas Épicas & Aventura (3h)

Estoy de vacaciones desde el Reino Unido y no podría soportar 2 semanas sin montar. Había hecho mi tarea antes de salir y sabía que había una tienda de bicicletas bien revisada (Ride Base) cerca de donde me estaba quedando en Puerto de la Cruz. Llamé y conversé con uno de los muchachos, Jesper, para hablar sobre el alquiler de una bicicleta y dar un paseo guiado. Jesper no podría haber sido más útil. Marcamos el primero de los dos paseos y me arreglaron con una bicicleta de carretera de 60 cm de buena calidad, esto en sí mismo fue una ventaja porque la mayoría de los lugares en los que he estado no atienden a chicos de mi tamaño: a veces me dicen 56 cm es el más grande que no me sirve. No existe ese problema con Ride Base, que podría ofrecer todo hasta 63 cm. Así que terminé haciendo dos paseos guiados con Jesper. Que gran chico. Amable, alentador y conoce el terreno. Ambas atracciones fueron en el rango de 60/70 km con 4000/5500 pies de escalada (suficiente para mí). Puedo decir honestamente entre las mejores atracciones que he realizado. Esta es una gran tienda de alquiler de bicicletas donde obtienes mucho más que el alquiler básico de bicicletas. Ofrecen el mejor asesoramiento y una gran experiencia guiada si lo desea. El viaje que le ofrecen se adapta a sus necesidades y a su capacidad. Estoy estrictamente en la carretera, pero la configuración de MTB es igualmente impresionante. Sin duda volveré la próxima vez que esté en la ciudad y lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

I had originally booked the ride with a road bike, but quickly realised on the day that I was going to be more confortable with a mountain/hybrid bike (as that's what I am used to), so I was able to switch. We took off, then shortly afterward returned to switch to an e-bike! It was a bit embarassing, but I just didn't have the fitness to handle to steep climbs around Puerto de la Cruz these days. Jesper was cool about it and we restarted the trip on e-bikes. It was a great day for the ride and the views rewarded the effort. Tip: if you aren't accustomed to hill climbing, then strongly consider an e-bike.

We booked a day trip from Puerto to Punto Teno. It was a great cycle trip along the coast with Jesper our guide. Amazing views in an unspoiled area. We were very glad we had an e-bike as the road was quite undulating. We had a great stop in a small cafe in Buenavista and great views at the Punta Teno Lighthouse. Highly recommended !

I'm not a very strong hill rider but Jesper stayed with me and chatted, giving me pointers on up and downhills. The route was beautiful and the roads are so smooth it's almost addictive. Next time, we climb even more!

It's a beautiful experience. Jesper was an excelent guide who informed us about the difficulty of the hill.

Chose this company because of the email correspondence before we left home. Answered all our quesrltion quickly and accurately. On arrive they were very friendly. We chose the half day ride warning wifey was slow up hill. Alberto was our guide and did a great job looking after her. At the same time giving us information about the island. He was very cautious about safety information about the downhills, you could feel his panic when he realised we're both descenders. The bikes were capable of any assents/decents thrown at them. Day 2 I went up the volcano without wifey. I used a lower spec bike than day 1, it was a little heavier but I actually found it really comfortable. Would I use them again... you bet I would, very enthusiastic. Pretty sure they can cater for several languages between them.

Great day, Jesper even managed to guide us around the rain! Nice route and have wry good clear instructions especially important for some of the decents.

Beautiful tour uphill from Puerto. Well maintained bicycle and really nice and experienced guide. Great experience.

We talked about a few route options in the shop then decided to do this one. The cycling was really nice. Some of the great things about using a guide are that 1) you don't get lost, 2) seeking out the best tarmac, and 3) local knowledge on where the Danish pastry shops are. Tenerife can be really hilly. As we were a group of mixed fitness we did this ride on a mixture of road bikes and e-bikes - so it was great that they are all available for hire and we could all ride together and all get a decent workout. 5/5 would use again.

Excellent tours given by Jesper and the knows bets places for good coffee and sweets. Great instructions while you are riding with him and always afraid to hair (getting a bit nasty know) which means it is getting steep :-).
