Desde Koper: Bled & Liubliana, Joyas Eslovenas ¡Inolvidables!

Mi grupo de cinco hizo una gira hoy con Ernie y fue perfecto. La pasión de Ernie por su tierra natal nos hizo apreciar su historia y su belleza. Una tarde visitando Liubliana y el lago Bled no es suficiente para este hermoso país. Después de nuestros recorridos a pie con Ernie, armados con su experiencia y sugerencias, tuvimos algo de tiempo para explorar por nuestra cuenta. La franqueza de Ernie sobre su propia vida mejoró nuestra experiencia.

Este recorrido fue una oportunidad fantástica para ver un poco de Eslovenia antes de nuestro crucero desde Trieste. El recorrido se realizó en camionetas de 8 plazas (no un autobús turístico enorme): 3 camionetas en nuestro día. Entonces un pequeño grupo agradable de personas. Los guías turísticos brindaron excelente información y nos divertimos. Tuvimos una buena oportunidad de visitar el lago Bled sin grandes multitudes en un autobús turístico. Y la ciudad capital era hermosa y fascinante. Definitivamente recomendaría este recorrido (en lugar de uno en el crucero que tenía CUATRO enormes autobuses turísticos en marcha, por lo que la multitud estaba loca).

Cómoda furgoneta de 8 plazas con buen aire acondicionado. Nuestro guía de habla inglesa Matt tenía buenos conocimientos de Eslovenia y de los lugares de interés específicos de Bled y Ljubljana. La parada en el lago Bled nos dio mucho tiempo para tomar fotos y visitar una cafetería local para tomar Kremsnita (la porción local de crema y natillas). La ruta del recorrido incluyó un circuito por el lago Bled que brindó más oportunidades para tomar fotografías de la Iglesia de la Asunción de María. El recorrido a pie por el casco antiguo de Liubliana incluyó los principales lugares de interés de la Plaza Preseren, los Puentes Triples, el Puente del Dragón, la Plaza del Congreso y la Iglesia de San Nicolás (solo en el exterior). Nota: El Castillo de Liubliana no está en el itinerario, pero domina el casco antiguo y se pueden tomar buenas fotografías desde la Plaza del Congreso. Algo de tiempo libre en Ljubljana nos permitió visitar un restaurante local para almorzar tarde. La ubicación central de recogida en Trieste en el Hotel Savoie Excelsior fue conveniente, ya que estaba a 10 minutos a pie de nuestro alojamiento.

El lago Bled y Ljubania eran hermosos incluso en un domingo lluvioso. La mayoría de las tiendas estaban cerradas. El guía turístico fue útil, pero me hubiera gustado tener más información sobre las ciudades y el país.

Dejan nos recogió en el hotel a la hora acordada. La camioneta era cómoda y tuvimos suerte de que solo éramos dos en la gira. Fue un viaje interesante al lago Bled, Dejan nos dio mucha información interesante en el camino. Disfrutamos de un paseo alrededor del lago y una parada de café y pastel de crema allí donde teníamos unas vistas fabulosas del lago al castillo. Luego fuimos a Ljubljana, donde Dejan hizo un recorrido a pie, así que vimos los sitios principales. También nos recomendó un restaurante típico local en el mercado donde probamos las costillas de cerdo asadas a fuego lento, deliciosas. Después de visitar el castillo y pasear por el mercado, llegó el momento de regresar a Trieste. Este fue un día encantador que definitivamente haría de nuevo.

Hermoso país. Todo bien mantenido y limpio. nuestro guía fue genial. Mantuvo todo a tiempo sin tener que apresurarnos.

Our guide for this tour was Vesna, and she did an excellent job. Vesna did a great job throughout the day in providing commentary on the bus as we drove to our destinations. She was willing to take questions, and she interacted with the driver as well to provide interesting facts. Lake Bled is a pretty place. You're essentially there to see the castle and views around the lake, and to optionally enjoy the cream cake and a coffee. If you choose to have the cake, go to the restaurant right away. No walking around the lake, no pictures - go. Why? Because the restaurant has limited seating, and it takes time for your order to come out, so if you delay you're going to have a tough time meeting up with the guide on time and proceeding to Ljubljana. You'll have time to take the picures you want - but do it after your cake and coffee. Ljubljana is a pretty city, and the pedestrian walkway next to the river is a great spot to sit and have a beer and relax. If you want to do some shopping, or take the cable car, you won't have time for the beer - it's either or. Plan accordingly. Be aware that the drive on the bus is two hours each way up to Lake Bled - you're on the bus for a long time. In summary: It was a fun day - we enjoyed it. Manage your time carefully, plan, and you'll get to do what you want and still meet up with your guide on time. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Additional comments: If you see any reviews for this tour complaining about not having enough time to see Lake Bled and Ljubljana, ignore them - they're probably written by the people who caused the issue in the first place. On our tour, 14 people showed up on time, and 3 people were 30 minutes late. I wish the tour had left without them, but it didn't. Then at Lake Bled, 4 people were again 30 minutes late meeting up with the tour guide. So......the majority of the group could read a watch and manage their time and show up on schedule. A small number couldn't, and took an hour away from the rest of the group's time. Not fair. Don't be the a**hole - manage your time, watch the clock, and be at the meeting spots on time or early. Would really say 4, but the guide (Dean) was excellent, so I kept it at 5. I wish we had 15 more minutes in Lake Bled to be able to visit either the castle or the church, but they pad the time based on ship departure and traffic. Additionally, the parking was terrible in Ljubljana, so we missed out on the walking tour. Dean gave a quick description because he didn’t want to waste our time driving around, and told us to take pictures of anything we wanted more information on.

Perfect day tour of Slovenia of the 2 places we wanted to see. Tadej picked us up at the ship port in a newer air conditioned van and provided us with history lessons and real insight into the Slovenian culture and lifestyle. He answered our many questions with valuable insight and patience and gave us tips for food to try, paths to walk and structures to visit. It was the best tour we have had!

My wife and I had a brilliant day out with Dean our guide for the day. We were picked up from the port in Koper for a trip to see Lake Bled and Ljubljana This is a beautiful county and such welcoming people. Dean hosted the trip in very knowledgeable way with the added humour and passion for his job. A great day out to see Slovenia.
